CARMEN'S FLOWER BOUTIQUE

We've received flowers from Carmen's twice, and were disappointed both times. The first time the arrangement was very large and full, but horribly arranged. This was not what we expected from a professional florist, but it was easy enough to fix. Then my son ordered flowers for Mother's Day, a week before. Nothing came on the special day, and he couldn't follow-up because they were closed. When he did speak with someone on Monday morning, they said the flowers were delivered on Saturday, which they were not. He was told they'd be delivered right away... but it took another four or five hours. He'd paid for a mylar balloon, which was not attached. The delivery guy said he'd 'try to find one for us.' We never got it. The tulips were beautiful, and a lovely purple color as he'd ordered, but they were jammed - leaves and all - into a narrow vase. Any florist should know that leaves that would be below the water line should be removed. They said they would refund what he paid for the balloon, but offered no compensation for the delivery problem. To top it all off, he spent $50 for 10 tulips. We will not purchase from Carmen's again.
