Based on my experience, I would not recommend Tommy Howe Jr. for landscaping or irrigation work. I believe him to be unethical, unprofessional, dishonest, and not a man of his word. I would be surprised if I'm the first to complain about his services.

Tommy failed to supervise his crew and refused to meet with me to discuss the services he promised (verbal and contractual). He failed to follow the community CCR's; planted bushes that died and then did not honor his warranty to replace them; failed to plant all the bushes in accordance with the contract; failed to plant all of the 1400 sq ft of sod in the contract; failed to seed and straw the sides of the house; and failed to remove the overgrowth we discussed when we walked the lot during his estimate. After numerous complaints, he refused to address my concerns and fix the deficiencies and was content with sending a couple of guys back to the house to throw down more pine straw.

I was contacted by the Developer on 12 October 2015 and told that Tommy Howe Jr. didn't submit the architectural plan to the Community Review Board until mid August. This was 2 weeks after we closed on the house which was an assumed attempt by him to try and pass the cost to us to bring the yard into compliance (approx. $3000). The General Contractor (Goneau Construction) failed to hold Tommy accountable for his unfinished work and the Developer had to pay for the service to bring us into compliance with the community CCR's.

Everything went well! They called to let us know they were running behind schedule, which was fine with us. When they arrived we suggested a few spots where to plant them and how far apart. They went right along with our suggestions and made a few of their own as well. Two very professional men did the planting. I am looking to get more dwarfs from Aurora Nursery very soon. I would definitely use them again and have no problem recommending them.

The original designer had layed the rocks out so the small stream looked completely natural. It was very important to maintain that look. When Aurora Hills was done, It looked like a straight trench with rocks lined up in a straight rows along the sides.Mother Nature has never designed anything that way.

Aurora Hill Farms Nursery came to the door to ask what I want. They were a cheaper option than other companies and I'm happy with the way things look. They were on time, they did what they said they were going to do, and clean up their messes.

They were very reasonable. The guy that runs it is very honest, he gives you good pricing and he has a good crew that comes out to do the work.

They did what they said they were going to do. They charged me what they said they were going to charge me. I rate them very highly.
