The young man that came on Tuesday was very professional and knew his trade.  He added 2.5 lbs of refrigerant and dye in case of a leak.
Eighteen hours later, we again had no AC.  We called and they sent someone out on Friday that was just as professional as the first young man and very knowledgable.  He refilled the unit again and told us there might be a leak within the pipe in the wall because after he checked everything no leak showed any place else.  We were not charged for this second visit at all.
OUR PROBLEM?  By Saturday night we again had no AC. We called Monday and they said they would send someone out that day....so, we sat home waiting all day.  We called back early Tuesday morning since they had not shown up Monday or called, and they told us that the technician had fallen off a tree and had gone to the ER and was back at the hospital, but someone would definitely be here after noon....again, we waited and waited, not wanting to go run any errands, and again, no one called or showed up.
We decided we would not call them anymore since they apparently didn't want to come back out.
Out of the blues, late Wednesday afternoon, someone showed up, unexpected.  Husband was taking a nap and I woke him up to tell them we were not interested anymore and had called someone else.  The tech said he was sorry that his son had had an ashma attack and then the day before he had been real busy.  We wouldn't have minded any of that (although he didn't mention falling out of tree), if they had only had the courtesy of calling us.  A little care for the customer would have gone a long way with us since we liked these guys so much.

The work went great. I liked everything about them. They came and did what they said they were going to do and finished the work within the time they said they were going to. The price they charged me was good.

New Construction townhouse, Unit installed by RONCO Heating and AC, Parkton, NC. Unit has been worked on numerous times by their technicians. RONCO installed dye last year to find out where the leak is and never returned. It is now a year later and they have not returned to fill the unit with FREON or to repair the leak and they want me to pay for the labor. Unit is a GOODMAN and I would never have another split system mfg by them.
