He diagnosed the problem, discussed it and answered a ton of our questions pertaining to that as well as other things about the unit. He had the part and tools, too care of it straight away. He even cleaned up after himself. He was polite, professional, patient and very accommodating.

Not good. Never showed up to do the work.

Wesco is an authorized Trane dealer. However, many dealers who have fancy websites and are Comfort Specialists don't have the quality of staff and the lower cost as Wesco. What many dealers will not tell you is that you, the customer, pays extra in the cost of the install for the comfort specialist, fancy website and the push to sell extended warranties. Wesco is an old fashioned business that cares about its customers and doing quality work without trying to sell the customer bells and whistles they do not need in order to increase profits. I thought businesses like this were all but extinct, but Wesco is an example of a good, honest, hard working company that actually cares about its customers. We replaced a six year old heat pump of a builder grade brand which is cheap to buy but cost us $2000 in repairs in six years and needed another $2000 of repairs. It may have been green in color, but the only green it really had was all of our hard earned money. I over researched all the brands and had at least 15 to 20 contractors give estimates. I learned there are a lot of dishonest HVAC contractors and many who show up in fancy trucks who cannot be trusted and do not know anything other than sales. Wesco impressed me as they type of company my father has always done business with over the years. They are the type of company who you keep for life. They arrived early on the day they said they would come. They removed the old air handler from under the house and the heat pump condenser. A new location was chosen and the new equipment was installed including a new whole house electronic air cleaner and a color touch screen thermostat. The house is warmer than it has ever been in the six years we have lived here. The heat strips are never on even in the coldest weather. The new unit does not run as often. We put in a variable speed air handler and the unit is 16 seer or high efficiency. The workmen left the yard clean. They removed shoes upon coming into the house. They were not rude, did not smoke, and were easy to talk to and answered all my questions. I felt they had the best price but also they did a quality installation and promised to stand behind their work. In a sea of confusion between which dealer to use, I am very happy that I chose Wesco from Oxford, NC.
