I've used G&S twice for fencing my back yard. I can't say enough about how great they are to work with. The work they did at both houses was stellar.

Dan and his staff were great to work with. Dan gave an estimate and stuck to it. The fence looks great. His crew designed my fence My neighbors have told me what a beautiful fence I have. One friend said the would defiantly use Dan for their own fence. I certainly use them again if I ever need a fence built.

We love our new fence. The workers were professional, friendly, and answered all of my questions. It was thought to be a two-day job, but ended up being done in just one. That was great!
I gave B's for "Responsiveness" and "Punctuality" for the following reasons:
Dan, the owner, didn't return my initial phone calls (2) for one week. He said this was because he was on vacation, but his voicemail message didn't let me know this important detail. So, I thought he was like the other three companies I called but never heard back from (who are these guys?). But, he did get back to me. Lucky him, his competition didn't answer OR return my calls.
I was told the job would start on 9/10. I was called at noon on 9/10 and told it would be the next day.
He gets "B"s for these because I wouldn't do those things as a business owner, but they are forgivable flaws. If his competition were stronger, these practices wouldn't hold up.
All in all, I would hire again. The fence looks great.

Excellent. They were prompt, did excellent work, at a fair price. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

.Don went over the estimate carefully so we both were aware of what my expectations and standards were for the job. His sons were polite and hilarious when they showed up on the date agreed upon. They were careful to keep my new bluetick coonhound contained; cleaned up and hauled off all the debris; and meticulously measured; and sighted for the fence to all be same height. They got into a yellow jacket nest; poison ivy; and a torrential downpour and never complained. I was impressed with their manners; good sense of humor; and a great attitude whether it was 90 degrees; raining cats and dogs; or my chihuahua had bitten them. However, their light-heartedness did not mean they took the job lightly; the fence is professionally installed; I am very pleased and satisfied. I will use them again if the bears tear it down this fall passing through; and I would recommend them to anyone wanting a professionally installed fence in a timely manner with a reasonable price.

I'm not very patient and when the company told me the fence would be done one week from the estimate, that is what I expected. In fact, the installation occurred three days later (that includes the weekend). I was informed about the delay. That's really not a big deal, but as I said, I am impatient. I also made a few calls to confirm the date of installation and I did not get call backs. Given my impatience, I threatened to have another company complete the job. However, they did show up as promised.
