They were very responsive, sent professional people and did the work efficiently and effectively. When they left, they also cleaned up behind themselves. I was shocked to see how little they charged for the services. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

They were called to fix a leak in my dirt basement from my well. What a mess! They were very quick to respond, locate and repair the leak. They were also very careful not to get mud on my already muddy floor. I have used this company for years for a reason. They do the job and stand by what they do. If there is a problem with the work, they fix it as soon as it is reported.

Called the company Friday morning 09-20-2013, told what services I needed and was told the Plumber would be out shortly....I live about 18 miles from this business....with in 45 minutes the Plumber was at the door and got right to work....he explained what was needed gave me an option as to lower cost....I appreciated that....he then went about the business of doing the repairs and when done ask me to see the work that was done and if I was satisfied with the clean up after wards....once I tested the hot water know in the tub and saw that the leaky valve below the toilet tank was replaced... all was as expected....gentleman also replaced a flap inside the tank that had a leaking valve ..... will recommend this company to anyone who is in need of service....being on a fixed income he did the least expensive method as I am on a Fixed income.....

Initially, we needed a plumber who could resolve a septic gas odor in a house that was under contract. After doing my research on Angie's list, we selected Vannoy and Lankford to meet with the realtor and myself at the house. Rick quickly identified the most likely problem as a bad seal on the toilet. Given that the house had been unoccupied for an extended period of time while on the market, septic gas was likely coming through a broken seal; most likely a toilet. We asked him when he could reset the toilet to see if that resolved the issue. He said, well, this was my last appointment for the day, I normally have one of my crews perform the work, but I can do it right now if that works for you. The realtor and I both had about thirty minutes to spare, so he completed the work while we waited. We used this experience as a test to see how well we would work with Vannoy and Lankford and if we would solicit a bid for the remaining work on the house after closing.
Rick could not have been more professional in the manner he removed the toilet, showed us where the problem leak was, how the toilet was inappropriately installed the first time. When Rick finished, it was like no one had ever been there, and best of all, no odor.
We did ultimately purchase the house (mid-70s ranch) and requested a bid from Vannoy and Lankford for the work we needed done. When I called Vannoy and Lankford and spoke with Randy, he answered quickly, professionally and efficiently scheduled an appointment to walk through the house to review the work that we wanted done. Rick arrived five minutes early on the appointed day and time, and took detailed notes for the quote which we received via email within a business day.
Vannoy and Lankford was selected to complete the work which included the following items: reset another toilet (including replacing the inappropriate flange with code-requirements), add shut off valves for exterior hose bibs, add ice maker line, reroute lines to hot water heater, remove obsolete and cap old washing machine connections in the basement, remove all exposed exterior gas piping and replaced it with new copper tubing inside the basement drop-ceiling. The gas system was upgraded to a 2PSI system which required regulators for each gas appliance and fireplace.
On the appointed day the work was completed, two crews (approximately 8 men) showed up, on-time, in uniform. I was greeted by Rick and he introduced me to each of the team leads who would be completing the work. At every step of the way, I was treated with the utmost respect and with and quot;yes sir/no sirand quot; when I had any questions or needed to speak with Rick who was like the foreman for the day.
As the work was being completed, there were some questions arose that needed my input and decision. When I asked Rick, and quot;what would be best for you?and quot; He responded, and quot;what ever you like sir, you are the customer and we'll do the work how ever you would like.and quot;As a result, there were some minor adjustments made after the work started. At no time did I hear and quot;well, we can do it, but it will cost you moreand quot; or anything of the like. The work was completed in one day, on time, and exactly for the quoted amount. Best of all, the house was completely CLEAN when they left; almost no sign that they had even been there.
Every person on the crew from Vannoy and Lankford provided the utmost attention to detail and best service I have ever had from a plumbing company. We could not have been more pleased with our experience and will only call them in the future as plumbing needs arise.

it went great one phone call fixed our whole problem usually you have to look under rocks for companies that are providing a service to you! not with these guys! i highly reccomend if you have a plumbing issue big or small that you give these gusy a call their price is fair and they really work with you!

They didn't charge me anything for this visit. It was excellent. They are responsive and keep their appointments when they say they will. The workmanship is good. They honored the warranty even though it was past the date of the warranty. I will absolutely continue to use them in the future.

We had a terrible experience with a carpenter who totally wrecked our bathroom in a remodel. We had to rely on Vannoy Lankford to come to the rescue!! They responded immediately when they knew it was an emergency situation for us to get the commode placed back onto the floor. They had it ready for us to use that night, even though it was not totally repaired to their satisfaction. They came back the next morning to securely get the repair done. They are always reliable and trustworthy. They will go out of the way to make sure that you are satisfied. They will give you a time to expect service, and they will be there!! When they are finished, you can know that your pipes won't still be leaking or your new faucets are installed correctly. We will continue to use and recommend this business. We are continually pleased with the results we get for the money!!
