Early evening, May 14th, Yadkinville got about 4 1/2 " of rain - most within 30 minutes! Our basement flooded. We knew we needed professional help when we realized the carpet in one of the rooms was totally waterlogged - when I stepped onto the carpet, my foot sank down and water billowed around my foot. We called Premier Restoration of NC and they were there to begin work at 8 AM the following morning! Premier Restoration of NC dried the entire basement (after taking everything out of the basement) and when ready, all items were returned. There was no messy clean-up after they left.
Description of Work: Emptied entire contents from the basement into a 30' enclosed trailer. Removed all flooring: carpet, linoleum, and vinyl tiles. Provided a dumpster to haul off the flooring and carpet and other items that were destroyed or badly damaged by the water. Found mold and sprayed and wiped down surfaces to kill all mold. Used special equipment to heat and dry the basement. Once the basement was dry, the restoration team applied dry-lock to the inside of the exterior walls and installed ceramic tile. Cleaned gutters and downspouts and made recommendations to avoid flooding in the future. Brought everything back into the basement and put each item where it needed to be.
