We were having trouble with our GFI receptacles. Brian came out and did checks on all the GFI. He was professional in every aspect, and took time to explain how the GFI work. He was very knowledgeable, and did not make you feel stupid if you asked questions. He is very nice and knows his profession. Brian would be an excellent choice for your electrical project.

He came over and looked at the breaker box.  He just had to snap the breaker back.  He was excellent and helped me understand what was going on.

Our new-to-us home purchase came with a Home Warranty.  We experienced a problem with outlets in our kitchen, 2nd bedroom and attic not working.  Brian came to us via the Home Warranty company and we couldn't be more pleased!  We reported the problem on Thursday evening, Brian called the next day and made an appointment to see us on Monday!  He called (as promised) prior to coming and arrived just as promised.  He went right to work and discovered a loose wire in the kitchen and bedroom outlets which ended up correcting the problem in the attic.  He worked confidently and quickly; wasting absolutely no time in correcting our troubles.  Would definitely recommend him to anyone needing an electrician!!!

He came right on out and told me upfront he was in the middle of a job, which was fine. I wasn't in any hurry. So I told him to take his time and that it was no big deal. So he did come out, within a couple of days, which was fine. He looked at the issue I was having. He gave me the option of putting new LED lights in or a lower cost light, which was exactly what I had in there. So I could either upgrade to a nicer light or just replace what I already had. It was a huge cost difference. He didn't try to stick me with just the higher cost. I appreciated that. He had trouble setting the timer in the garage. He had to come back out twice, to set the timer. He could not get it set, which was fine and no big deal. I called the manufacturer and they walked me through how to do it. It wasn't no big deal. It was a complicated timer. Other than that, he did a great job.

Bryan was great!!  Got there on time & did the work in a short amount of time.  The work was done well.  We are very pleased & will call him again when we are in need of electrical work.  Great Job!!!!!

Brian was right on time for both the initial meeting / estimate and on the day of installation. He was very knowledgable and took the time to discuss the different options that I had. He did a nice job on the installation...everything was very neat and professional. I will use Brian's services again in the future.

Brian was super pleasant on the phone and extremely prompt and professional in person.  He fully explained what we was going to do and gave me an estimate that he thought was on the high side, but he wanted told me that depending on how the access to the fuse box went (he had to run a ground wire from the HVAC unit in the attic to the fuse box on the other side of the house in the garage), the cost could be lower.  He was right.  The job was done quickly, cleanly, and under the estimate.  My mom was home at the time of the work and raved about how much she liked Brian.  That's high praise because Mom doesn't "pull her punches"!!!  She wanted his number in case she needed any electrical work done.  If that doesn't tell you that he's the right guy for the job, I don't know what will.  In our new home, if we need any work done, I no longer have to worry about who I will contact.  Thanks, Angie's List and thanks, Brian for doing such a great job.

We woke up Thanksgiving morning to no heat.  After having two HVAC contractors look into the problem, both determined that the furnace unit breaker was bad but neither had a part to replace and suggested we call an electrician.  Since we had never used one before,  I went to Angie's list to find someone close to our house.  My search and the reccomendations pointed me to B K Electric.  We called Friday morning and Brian was on a job but answered immediately.  He said that he could get to us that afternoon and arrived about noon.  In 10 minutes he had the breaker replaced and we had heat again !   The HVAC companies had reset the original breaker but the heat only ran for about an hour.  We made Brian aware of this and while he couldn't wait that long (understandable), he said that he would come back if it went off again.  However, after the replacement breaker it was fine.  Brian even called that evening to follow up.  We were extremely pleased with the prompt response and follow-up and will definitely call on Brian again if in need of an electrician.

Brian came to our house and was very thorough in his explanations of what needed to be done. He's now working out the cost to us and we will go from there.

Went great, honestly. Brian is stickler for detail and wants it done right. He didn't a certain type of outlet cover we needed the first time around but after he finished the job he told me he would call me next time he was in our area and swing by and install the cover. He lived up to his word. He called me and was there a few minutes to fix it. He even helped us with a problem with our door (which was not why he was there and he didn't have to but he did). Hard worker, very fast and meticulous. If he was going to do any work outside of what he quoted, he would stop and tell you about it first and give you a choice on what you wanted to do (we had some other wires that we could have fixed that he found but we decided not to after speaking with him).

He installed and replaced 2 switches & then assembled & installed the ceiling fan in our loft.  The fan works just fine & the lights in our bedroom are also working.  He was very professional & actually early with the repair.  I will be doing buiness with him in the future on both of my kids bedrooms.

BK (I can't remember the gentlemens name) spent 2 hours removing switches, light fixtures and recepticles to find a loose wire. A poorly installed cieling fan turned out to be the culprit and was repaired.
Many thanks to BK. His knowledge and professionalism were very apparent. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

They came on time, traced all our lines and found the short quickly. They found and fixed it well within an hour. They were professional and courteous. I realize this wasn't a big job but having no power is frustrating and I very much appreciate their quick response and help.
