John's Service Company

The company did not take care of the items in my house during the move. Items fell out of the truck and due to not having the right amount of blankets to accommodate the move not all of my furniture and larger items were wrapped. After the service I am now experiencing communication issues with the company where he is not returning any of my phone calls. John knows that I am trying to reach him as i still have a few items in storage which he promised to retrieve as I needed them. He also promised to reimburse me for the clothes I needed pressed after they were shoved in boxes. I have receipts but because of communication issues this is still not been resolved. I am frustrated with the aftercare of this company and would advise potential customers to tread lightly.

The move from H***.  (Not New Bern)
 Move day crew showed up with one truck, previously indicated that it might take two trucks.  Crew, no John, packed truck with furnishings including some that we were going to take in car.  We fed them lunch and then they took off leaving some of their equipment which we had to flag them down.  Truck needed water?  (bad sign).  After they left we found cushions and part of some of the furniture they forgot.  
 Plan was we went to Raleigh and got new house ready for the next day.  No movers at the appointed time,  called and truck broke down in Cove City.  They were going to tow it back to shop and repair we agreed as best not to move things twice.  Waited truck not fixed and no rentals trucks available.  Next day replacement truck due in am arrive in the pm too small only half the load.  Weather was hot and humid and crew did not wear gloves or shirts and the sweat raised the grain on some of the wooden pieces.  Next day expected in the am arrived in the pm with the rest of the furniture.
Still uncertain of where two boxes are.
Address we had on card for John was 2004 S Glenburnie Road. and they said that the hadn't seen John for several years and didn't know where he was.
We did not compare with other companies because we had had such good service the previous time a number of years ago.

John and his crew were just absolutely fabulous! They did the job we hired them to do with professionalism, kindness, and fantastic communication throughout the entire process!
