Engine Repair
East Coast Equipment is a John Deere Dealer and service center. I brought my John Deere pressure washer in for service because it suddenly stopped and would not restart. They claimed I had stale gas. That is not possible since I was using the unit with fresh gas that I had also used in my lawnmower at the same time without issue. My guess, a vapor lock that cleared it self. It probably started for them on the first pull. They charged me $108, including one hour labor @ $90/hr. That's $90/hr for small engine repair - assuming there was anything to repair. I consider that an outrageous rate for such a simple service. Were not tuning Ferraris here.
