Paid almost $10,000 for a whole new ac and heating unit. They did not insulate correctly, or even at all. Black mold grew all over the ceiling. Took them weeks to come out and fix it, and kept pushing me off everyday telling me they'd come "soon" and then sent me a bill in the mail for insulation—- which should have been done when they installed it. They created this mold, and then charged me to clean it up... Never told me I would be charged for them to correct their own issue. No leaks or mold with my prior unit. I informed them of a leak the day after they installed it as well, and they did not fix the leak, just screwed on the circle covering.... Let's also mention how they mail me a bill dated 9/13 and it's due 9/14 with " a monthly late fee of 1.5%" ~ just received it in the mall today, and it's already late LOL stay far away!!! They also scratched up my flooring while installing the unit, I didn't complain about it.. But figure I'll add that in too seeing how I'm being punished for their mistakes

I spent around $500 to get my heat pump fixed and it never got fixed. The techs came to my house three times in a matter of days - they injected a "special" costly lubricant that did not work and replaced my thermostat (I am not sure why) and added expensive freon and the unit still didn't work properly. AirTech installed this same unit about 10 years ago and I have had nothing but problems with it from the start.

no internal control or paper management.  Each person would show up to the house like it was AirTech's first time at the house with no previous records of what had been done.  After work was completed and everything working no paperwork was provided as to what they had done to correct any issues.
After 6 service calls in 2014 and no paperwork i begin asking for the paperwork in January of 2015.  The initial response was everything is working right now correct (as in why do you need it?) I finally received all paper months later but no confirmation of my original question "at what point does a system need to be fully replaced?"

They had installed the unit when the house was built that is why we used them.  They are prompt.  They are professional.  They come back until they get it right.  I would absolutely use them again.

They did an excellent job.  I thought they did an excellent job of explaining what was going on and helping us work through the decision on the type of system that was going to work the best for us.  They even said at one point that we didn’t need something, and then later on we had made the decision to go ahead and change it but it was strictly our decision.  It wasn’t something that they pushed or recommended.  I just think that they were really helpful through the whole process.  Then when they actually did the job, they were very clean and very efficient.  They came when they said they were going to come and they completed the job.  It was the same amount that they said it was going to be.  We had some questions afterwards and somebody came out immediately to follow up, and walked through some stuff with us to help us understand the system of how it worked.  Everything’s holding up good and there are no problems at all.  We haven’t gone through the winter yet but the summer has been fine.  Hopefully everything holds up through the winter.  They were very good.  Their price was good and very reasonable compared to the other prices that we got.  We recommend them to the other people.  We will absolutely use their services again in the future.

This unit was installed when the house was built in Oct. 2009.   This is a brand new unit for a brand new custom built home.  In less then three months we were having problems with the unit.  The air flow was out of balance from day one and only six months after we had moved into our new house the unit froze.  Later on in the winder it was leaking freon and that sent our electric bill to over $600 a month!!! They finally came to fix it but would not do it under warranty even though the warranty had just run out!  A couple of month later we had once again issues with the air flow.  Both times they came to my house they did not at all gave me an estimate or told me they would charge me for their services.  Until I got a bill for $211, $31 for the Freon and $180 for the labor which both times took them less then one hour!  I sent them a letter expressing my concern and they never even acknowledged the letter; rather, a month later I got another bill which stated I was past due.  I finally went to pay the bill cash because I did not want anything to do with them anymore.  But I would like to make everyone aware of this company.  Make sure you get an estimate before they even do any work.  And if your builder is using them to set up the unit in your house - take caution!!

Our expierence was very good. Even when we got a bit scared when one morning the fan was not moving and we called Airtech, they called us back and assured us that was normal for the system and not to worry, but they undetsood our need to get answers.

I have heard in my area that they are good. They are willing to look for repair options rather than always just saying I need to have a new one, which I appreciate. I did not spend anything, the person said that he would hold an open ticket and if they had to come back, they will look at it then. I am pleased with the quality of work. It usually takes them a couple of days to respond, but I think that is normal. They were professional, clean-shaved and work clothes were clean.

We originally called for routine service of heat pump in a home we occupy only occasionally. When we arrived the day before the service was scheduled, with temperatures close to 100 degrees, we found that A/C was not cooling at all. After a miserable night in the heat, AirTech technician Charles showed up the next morning and worked for two hours outside in the sun as well as in the extra-hot attic to get the unit working again. He was meticulous, polite and professional in every respect. When we stopped at the Airtech office to pay for the service, the office staff was equally pleasant and professional. We were so impressed with the company that we signed up for a recurring maintenance agreement that day.
