Matt was very informative and resolved my repair concern. I am pleased with the work completed. I had hired Matt in the past for a home inspection and was also very pleased with his services.

We used this home inspector on the advice of our real estate agent. We should have known better, I know. First of all, I asked to be notified when the inspection was going to be done so that I could be there. It never happened. I was waiting to be notified when we got an email with the results of the inspection. Everything on the inspection was minor things, mostly cosmetic. After we moved in, though, we found things that the inspector either didn't see or didn't bother to let us know about.
The thing that I am most upset about is that the inspection report stated that the heat pump was working. Once we closed on the house and moved in, we found that it, in fact, did not work and was completely locked up. There is no way it was working when the inspector was here. So, there was a five thousand dollar cost that we could have asked the seller to cover had we known the heat pump didn't work.
There are a few other things that we've noticed that the inspector should have noticed but the heat pump is the real kicker.
