How anyone can memorize and repeat the Old Testament, and yet not be able to complete a one-page punch list escapes me.
The house was delivered to us in second-hand condition. The painter did not return, the brick mason did not return. We had to have the house rodent-proofed by changing the vents.
The plumber and flooring people did follow-up properly, and did a good job.
We spent literally thousands of dollars to complete the house and correct the defects.
