I signed a contract with the above company on October 7, 2009 to build a mother in law suite on to my daughter's home. This was to be completed by January 15, 2010. Due to many days of inclement weather, Christmas and New Years holidays, and vacations as well as delays in getting building materials over said holidays, the contractor simply walked off the job. This happened on January 26, 2010 without a word to myself or my daughter. At that point there was only a frame of the addition.

"Repeated notices were given to the member about the lack of progress on her jobsite due to material selections not being made by herself or her daughter. Delays totaling 69 days on a scheduled 92 day project are documented. The contract specifically states a reasonable timeline for work to be completed and that is where the member was in breach of contract. All invoices for the job up to that point were given to the member along with a reimbursement for what she had overpaid. The member was not charged for any labor or materials that were not performed. - Chris Murphy, President"
