I contracted Greg to level two low spots on the concrete terrace. The result is one spot is okay and the other low spot still holds water and does not drain properly. I had Greg install an overlay that was supposed to imitate a slate surface. This came out horrible and I told him at the time of completion that I was not happy. He said to wait a month and it should lighten up and look the way I wanted. I waited a month and contacted him. He gave me the run around for three months and I had to threaten him with a trip to small claims court. He finally came out and did the repair. It looks good now but he was extremely unprofessional and I would never provide any recommendation to use his services to anyone. He also stained a large section of the concrete terrace. He said he could do this but he gave disclaimers that it is the same thing as staining wood so he could not guarantee what it would look like. I took the chance and I am sorry that I did. As soon as the funds are available we will have this area resurfaced by a reputable company. In summary all I can say is BUYER BEWARE!
Response from Greg Wooten Concrete
"We installed these products exactly to the customers color choices and specifications. This customer wanted the surface extremely dark. This product was a translucent concrete stain, and I advised the customer that it would all depend on the color and contrast of the existing surface. Our color charts that she received states that the outcome of the finished product depends on how pourous the existing surface is. I had the customer view and observe the entire process. Upon completion she stated it was too dark after she had asked for extra coats to be added to which I advised against. I did advise her to let it dry thoroughly and completely for 30 days. I went back to the residence and observed it. She then changed and wanted me to refund her $1000.00 and she would let it go. I advised to let us fix the issue to 100% satisfaction. She wanted the joints in the overlay darker but the darkness of the entire area she was pleased with. I ordered the material and scheduled to darken the joints. I got approval from the customer and she stated she was pleased. We strive to satisfy every customer. We have hundreds of satisfied customers and references available anytime."
