FAUX TO FINISH

Doc and Paul are the only contractors we have ever trusted to be in our house when we were not there. They simply earn that level of trust. We wanted to update our kitchen but could not afford new cabinets. For $2400 they took basic builder grade cabinets and made them look like $15000 of new custom cabinets. They did it by picking an off white color from our granite and then painting our cabinets with oil based Benjamin Moore paint. (Using quality paint is a key part of their method). They then made a custom glaze to match a brown color in the granite. The result was a custom antiqued look that worked with our granite. For another $900 they picked a green from the same Benjamin Moore color palette and painted the entire first floor to coordinate with our kictchen. For a final $150 they made a custom blend of green and white that worked with both our wall color and our trim color and transformed an ugly red brick fireplace into a great focal point of our family room Several of our neighbors saw their work and then used them also There are painters and then there are Doc and Paul Go with Doc and Paul. Doc and Paul and crew were extremely professional and personable throughout the entire week long projects. They went out of their way to find a durable finish that matched our existing white and whose fumes would not harm our exotic birds. The finish came out better than the original. All work completed on site including spraying for which they erected a portable spray tent outside our garage. We are very pleased with their work and would gladly recommend them.

Fantastic in all aspects

The kitchen island looks fabulous. It turned out better then I could have ever imagined. Doc and Paul are truly talented and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They were so easy to work with. They made some suggestions along the way, like adding decorative wood brackets to support the granite top that added such a great look and really finished it off. I love my new island so much. You can't go wrong with having them!!!! I am planning on using them again in the future!!

They we prompt coming to give an estimate. They price was very competitive. They worked very closely with me to make sure the color and style was what I wanted. They showed me examples of their work. I could not have been happier. Very professional but yet very friendly. Would recommend them to anyone.

Doc and Paul were very responsive. Due to repairs needed, they came several days to and quot;mudand quot; in the repair, paint over this to dry and then return for final painting. They called before each visit and finished when they estimated they would. Very clean paint job.

We went to a lighter cabinet color. They did a great job. The work took about 6 days and I am happy with the result.

Paul and Doc took the doors and drawers to their shop. The rest is sanded and painted in your home. They are two of the nicest people and you feel comfortable having them in your home. They have so many ideas and are very creative. I loved working with them and I love my kitchen.

It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Doc and Paul are very professional and came prepared with lots of great ideas and pictures . I was not exactly sure of the color or finish for the kitchen cabinets so they were able to help and guide me in my decisions. I also had dark stained trim throughout my kitchen that I wanted to keep but did not know how to incorporate that. They were both so enthusiastic about the project and it was really a fun experience. My kitchen looks so bright and new now. I love the outcome! I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to others.

Doc and Paul are terrific guys and it was a pleasure having them working in our home. They were very timely from time of estimate (called and they came over the same day), to the date of service. They came when they said they would. They did a terrific job and gave great recommendations on paint colors for both rooms as well as recommendations on the cabinets. They finished in exactly the amount of time they said they would and it looks great. I highly recommend them and would hire them again.

How did it go is the subject here and I don't think its possible to describe or explain in adequate detail how pleased we are with the finished product but and quot;bloody outstanding or amazingand quot; would be a start. Working with these two men was a joy, being around them was a joy, and the time/effort they put into their work astonished me.

OK, they showed up when they said they would on Monday and were in/out all week until they finished up Friday about 3PM. Our cabinets are in three (3) different locations plus an island so we knew this was going to be a bit of an inconvenience but they minimized that, were very tidy, and did the job with little real interuption to our daily routine.

The final result was such that I found my wife wandering back/forth in the kitchen saying and quot;they never looked this good, the color is perfectand quot; so in short if you want me to rate them and their work on a scale of and quot;10and quot; I would give it a and quot;15and quot;!!

I was so impressed that I am having them back for another small job and hired an associate of theirs who does work for them to paint the outside of my home, his work too was outstanding.

They did a great job. They showed up on time, cleaned up everyday, and were very respectful of my property. When they painted with the incorrect finish they repainted with the correct finish. No hassles, just an apology. I tend to judge a company not on whether they make a mistake, but rather on how they respond when they make one. Doc and Paul are top notch guys who stand behind their work. I couln't have asked for a better experience. I have already asked them for estimates on more work.

First let me say ...WOW...these gentlemen are just that good!!!! They contributed so much to this project , over and above their painting skills, which are formidable. I needed some color help and they were very helpful, I needed woodworking help and their guy was fabulous. I had a an idea of how I wanted this kitchen to turn out ,but with their skills they turned it into a reality that exceed my original vision! ! ! Needless to say , when you have to "CALL THE GUY" to get painting done, Doc, Paul and John are the guys to call ! ! We will be having them do exterior work too! They are all about making sure you are happy about the finished product and could not be greater to work with....even if you need to add on to your original to do list they will work with you.... can you ask for more than that ? They were also great about making sure my little dogs did not get out.... You will not be disappointed ! ! !

I came home from work and the house never smelled like it was just painted - no odor at all! Their painting is neat and precise, and they are always prompt, reliable and dependable. The paint color they suggested was perfect! Thanks again, Doc and Paul!

Doc and Paul are 2 of the nicest guys you will ever have work in your home and they do beautiful work! They took my ugly honey colored kitchen cabinets and painted them cream and they look amazing. The new color has totally transformed our kitchen. Whenever people come over they think I got all new cabinets. While they are fast, they don't rush the job and when they had an issue with a batch of paint which left some little bubble marks on the doors, they stayed an extra 2 days, resanded everything and repainted. They really take pride in their work and it shows. They were also really great with my 2 small children and our dogs (would even let the dogs outside for me if I was not home or upstairs feeding the baby). I just can't say enough great things about them. Would HIGHLY recommend.

They were absolutely perfect in every single way. They were extremely professional. The price was right. They were punctual. I felt at ease leaving them alone in my house. They even went to an estate auction and brought back a surprise!

Excellent experience from start to finish! We purchased a home with very light maple cabinetry in the kitchen, which my wife and I really did not like. We wanted the cabinets to actually be a dark shade of brown. Doc and Paul were very easy to talk to and provided multiple examples of their work. They were able to schedule the job quickly, and took great care of our house as they performed the work. They stripped/cleaned the cabinets and refinished/glazed them to match our request perfectly! The cabinets and surrounds look brand new, even still keeping the original grain visible in the wood. Also, their price was unbeatable. If you are looking to do any type of upgrade to your cabinets, you should contact Faux to Finish before going down the path to refacing or buying brand new cabinets. You will be very happy you did!

I had the most fantastic experience working with them. They were very punctual when they came out. I called them and asked them if they could come early, as I had to go out of town which they did. They were very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. They told me about things that I should change and they definitely knew what they were doing. They were probably the most personable guys that I have ever met. The price that they charged was the most reasonable price out of the 5 estimates that I got. I would use their services in the future too and I am looking for stuff that needs to be done.

IN A WORD, PHENOMENAL! Doc and Paul are absolutely fantastic. Consummate professionals, thorough, artistic, had great paint color suggestions and fixes for work done badly previously. They are extremely reasonable price-wise for the amount of work they did, and they banged it all out in 2 days. I could not have been more pleased. I wish I had 3 more houses for them to work on to showcase all their talents! I can't recommend them enough.

Doc and Paul did a wonderful job and our kitchen looks beautiful. They sanded all of our cabinets, put on a primer, painted them with two coats of paint, glazed them, and then sealed them. They also recommended Ambra Woodworking to install molding on the bottom of my cabinets, which also made a big impact and improvement to our kitchen. The first color my husband and I choose had a pinkish hue once applied to the cabinets. I did not have to say anything, Doc and Paul did not like the color and they left me a note with a few other color choices that they thought would work better. They came back the next day and painted the cabinets with the new color. They are great to work with, very professional, and they take great pride in the work they do and it shows in the finished product. I received several estimates before choosing Faux to Finish, but it was a quick and easy decision after meeting them and seeing their portfolio of completed work.
