+ 1 moreAfter interviewing and soliciting bids from multiple custom home builders, we selected Greg Dimmer of Dimmer & Sons Construction, Inc. to build our home in Mount Holly, NC. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with this builder!! Greg did a great job of detailing what would be included in his pricing, what would be an extra cost to us, the timeline, etc. at the beginning of our project. In the end, we came in right on target with his budget and timeline. Greg was very open and honest with us during the entire construction process. He communicated with us frequently, was very patient to work through questions/concerns we had. We are very happy with our home and consider Greg a close family friend. We HIGHLY recommend him!!! Greg also does remodeling and builds detached garages. We just signed a contract with him to start construction on a detached garage this week. We are excited to work with him again!
Description of Work: We purchased 6 acres of land in Mount Holly, NC and hired Greg Dimmer to build a custom home for us. The house is approx 3400 square feet. The home has very high end finishes including brick/stone/partial siding veneer, wide plank walnut flooring, granite countertops, oversized custom moldings, custom designed screen porch, built in cabinetry in multiple rooms, etc. We altered the home plan from Frank Betz slightly to do custom work in the bonus room, master bedroom, master closet, and screen porch. This project started in 9/2008 and was complete in 3/2009.
