Baha did an excellent job of contacting me throughout the process and keeping me abreast of progress. Shaun is very professional and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend them to anyone who want to have a similar project done. Mine turned out much better than I ever dreamed it would.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I’ve now been dealing with trying to get their poorly done project fixed for almost a year. They would randomly show up without any communication, not even ring my doorbell, and just walk into my backyard. They hit the siding of my house, leaving a gouge that still needs to be repaired. They quoted me, and had me pay, on something they couldn’t actually do! They passed me onto another person, after the project was done so badly, to fix it, and they are practically MIA. I guess I’ll have to think about legal action, because this is ridiculous. A business they are not, let alone a reputable or responsible one. Save yourself the headache and DON’T hire them!

If I could leave a zero star review, I would. Our experience was terrible! Concrete decking isn’t squared up to our building, so now the retaining wall is off too. They bowed a pool wall with their equipment, buggied the concrete up our driveway rather than pumping it (so he could save money), only had three guys on our job, concrete was splattered all over our handrail and ladder, cracks surfaced within two days of the pour, along with a hole, boot prints and fingerprints. When they showed up to make the cuts, put another coat of color on and seal the concrete.. improper cuts were made and they brought the wrong color! Took the owner 11 and a half weeks to come out and address these issues and all he offered was a refund of $500 so we could do it ourselves. Had to hire someone else and paid $6,500 - this man made the proper cuts, repaired the cracks & hole, colored and sealed the concrete.. so a $9,808 job ended up costing us $16,221! We got a $6,500 judgment in court on 2/9/22 and he has yet to pay a dime… but he’s buying a new boat!?! We have also been in contact with other unhappy customers who plan to sue as well. Baja lost all business of Passmore Pools and Passmore been using Baja for 15 years! People, BEWARE!!!

Concrete work they do is excellent, but do NOT ask them to do any drainage. Their lack of care and skill in placing in a drain is beyond incompetent. I have been trying to get is fixed for over two weeks and they still can't get it right. The first few days after placing it in they had sent someone out twice beyond the original visit and still fail to get it done right. Do NOT have them work any drainage, hire someone else if that is what you are looking for.

Baja Concrete installed a stamped patio for us last summer (2019) My husband was watching and realized they were not going to stamp the dirt before installing. After he asked about it, they said their stamper was broken. He insisted that they find a way and finally they rented a stamper to compact the dirt. After the project was completed the concrete did not accept the stain evenly. The owner agreed to come back to fix it. After not coming back in the fall, he said that he had to wait until spring for better weather. I contacted him again in the spring and was told it was too rainy but I was on the list. No word or response since then.

Wrong material quoted, which they made right pricing wise after I self ordered the right material. The job itself seemed out of their league and expertise. I had them build a raised driveway that required a 4 foot wall. They could not get the wall straight even after taking down one section and redoing it. The joints in the wall were never filled and you can still see gaps. The block that was laid was not stacked properly either with block edges in alignment vs offset as they should be in several places. The Driveway they installed is still subject to flooding when this was a primary design concern before even starting the project. All of this was pointed out several times in photos, writing, and conversations each reached with the promise to resolve. Once they got paid, never heard or saw from them again to correct the issues.

They responded quickly to my call for an estimate. The estimate was very close to my own 'unprofessional' estimate. We agreed. I was not in a hurry, which made their scheduling easier. The only problem was weather. Several days with rain in forecast made it difficult for them to schedule. But, when they were able to get to my job they were in and out in one morning. The crew did a great job and were patient with my questions. I know who to call should I need this kind of work done again.

Baja did the work in July. Shortly after it rained, and there was a puddle on the driveway. I contacted Baja and they came out and said even though it wasn't covered under the warranty (?) they would replace that section because it was the right thing to do. I also asked them to raise the walk because it was lower than the surrounding grade and I was willing to pay for that. They gave me and estimate and I agreed. They said since it was such a small job they would schedule me for a Saturday. But the cement factory was closed every Saturday they scheduled. The last I heard from them was in December. I don't expect to hear from them again, unless they maybe happen to read this post.
I gave them a "B" because out of 10 providers I called, only 3 bothered to call back and only 2 gave me an estimate.

Mo returned my call right away and showed up within 24 hrs to provide an estimate. He immediately calculated the estimate on an Ipad and provided a detailed printout, on the spot. Very efficient. We worked out a schedule that was later moved up due to an opening in his schedule. Two days later the crew showed up and removed the old concrete driveway, set the forms and the next day the new driveway was poured. The finish work on the driveway is as good as it gets. I couldn't be more pleased.

Manolo was very easy to reach and he came promptly to give a verbal estimate. The weather this summer was not cooperating and Manolo explained that because of the constant rain he was running behind with his other jobs. He told us he would keep us informed about his progress and give us advance warning when he would be able to come. The whole crew finally arrived and went to work. First they had to remove an old broken up driveway and that was not an easy job. His crew worked hard and diligently and got the old concrete removed. Then came the rain again. fortunately, a couple of days later everything was dried up enough for them to start working on the driveway. They were amazing! They brought in new dirt without additional charge, leveled the surface and the next day built the forms and poured the entire driveway in one day! They worked till well after dark to get the work done. They did a great job. The driveway looks good and our property value is greatly improved. We would recommend this company to anyone who needs concrete work done.

Pros: Communication was good about the job and timing. Considering weather challenges the response time was very good. The folks who performed the work were very cooperative. Price was reasonable.
Cons: The people who did the work didn't speak much English so were hard to communicate with when discussing details. Parts of the sidewalk area are not level. Work team showed up without notice.

Mo returned my calls almost immediately. This was great because other contractors didn't bother to call me back. He was very personable and answered all my questions. They were able to come within a week and completed the job in a day. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend this company highly.

The whole process was an excellent experience. Mo and staff were extremely professional and did a wonderful job They added comsmetic elements that I wasn't expecting and I am still blown away at how good everything looks. It really added value to my home.

I was shopping quotes on concreting my very long driveway and out of three contractors I was most impressed with him. Although he was not the lowest quote he met it even though we had a very large project. We started out needing 64 yards but after my husbands last minute adds. We ended up needing 89 yards and Mo and his crew did not skip a beat. After a long Friday starting at 7 am and ending at 7 pm we had the equivalent of three beautiful driveways and two lean to"s poured and finished. I would highly recommend Baja Concrete.

Initial appointment occurred about 2 hours after I called for the first time. They started work quickly. Communication was not great. They provided the best estimate of 4 companies I called. The driveway looks great. Very professional looking with an edging that really adds to the finish. The verbally agreed upon size of the driveway was accurate at the road but the driveway they poured narrowed by a foot at the house. It actually looks better that way, but not what we initially agreed to. I was left with a good amount of clean up and finishing work. I had to carry off wheelbarrow loads of debris from their work and level around the driveway. Additionally, they scraped grass off my yard on one side about 3 feet into the yard. Personally, I love working in the yard and although disappointed in the clean up left for me, for the price and the way the driveway looks, I am very happy. They need to improve commuications around appointments. They missed one appointment with no phone call to notify me. They kept all other appointments.
