In July we purchased wood flooring from Fashion Floors and they installed it. It was a great job and a great floor! In August we purchased the same floor for another bedroom and had it installed. The installer decided to glue this floor down instead of nailing it like we wanted. We come in after 3/4 of the floor is done and he then tells us that he wanted to do it this way. I called Fashion Floors and talked with Scott about this and he said it was just as good as the nailing. Nailing the floor down was on the invoice that the installer had. What bothers me is that Scott then tells me that I got the glued down floor for a cheaper price then if I had ask for it. I did not want it! There was never "I'm sorry or can we fix the problem". It was only about a cheaper floor. When we went to pay for the floor, The lady in the office just laughed about the problem. I don't think an installed should decide how you want your floor to look and We should have been ask what we could do to fix the problem or give a discount on the price.
