It went pretty well. I was under the impression it was going to be bagged mulch, but it was open. He tried his best to leave it all and not block  the driveway. I called him to have the mulch spread for me but they haven't arranged anything yet.

Page Road Garden Center had the best pricing and delivered the next day.

Had 14 yards of mulch delivered.  Delivery fee was waived due to the amount purchased. Delivery was on time, and the mulch was of teh quality that was expected. Very reasonable price for the intended usage.

Very friendly on the phone. Reasonable prices. Good quality triple shredded hard wood mulch was dumped at the end of my driveway just as expected. The delivery itself was problematic. I told them when ordering there was a possibility that no one would be home when they came by, and I could leave a check in the mailbox. They were reluctant to accept this at first, but then acquiesced. I gave them my home number to call in case they needed help with directions.
I was out of town when this occurred but my wife was home. She had an appointment in the morning. She was running out the door when the phone rang and didn't stop to answer it. When she got back she checked it and saw they had called, but they didn't leave a message. She called them and told them the check was out in the mailbox, and that she had stepped out when the called. The person she spoke to didn't have any idea that the check was going to be in the mailbox. They said they would come by again in a couple hours. My wife got in the shower and not 10 minutes later she heard a large truck out front. By the time she got to the front door the mulch was dumped and the truck was leaving - and of course the check was still in the mailbox.
Unless you know you will not be leaving your house all day, ask about prepaying with a credit card. There's obviously a communications issue between the front office and the drivers.

The mulch was delivered on schedule and was what I expected.

I’d give them an A. The overall experience has been very good and they have a nice place. The price is reasonable. If you are getting dirt to grow grass, get the 50/50 mix of compost and soil.  Anything less is like getting what we already had. They are prompt on delivery and their responsiveness and professionalism are both very good.

I’ve dealt with them three or four times, and they normally call ahead and say when they will arrive. I’ve been very satisfied with them and I call them back for their quality service.

I purchased 5 yards of mulch to be delivered to my house. After some internet searching and receiving price quotes for 3 garden center, I found Page Road Garden Center to be the one with the best price (Angie's List 5% coupon plus lowest delivery charge). The customer representative over the phone sounded a bit overworked. My best guess was that she was flying solo answering phone calls and behind the desk, but she was nice and responsive. She had to call me back to take my payment over the phone. The company delivered the mulch on Friday and also gave me a call as they were loading the truck before arriving at the house, as I requested. The nice delivery guy was able to maneuver the truck to dump the mulch where I had suggested. I will definitely shop here again.

Page Road garden center is always great to work with. They have their prices clearly list online- a huge plus in my book. You can view all the mulch and soils at their center. They are very knowledgeable and always friendly. My sister has used them several times as well. Delivery is on time and placement is just where you ask. Quality and mulch and soils I have purchased have always met all expectations.

They had a delivery opening the day I called, and the mulch was delivered within 2 hours.  (Delivery is free for 10 or more yards.)  Very pleasant and professional business.
