My Island Spa of Raleigh

The Spa is not very clean and is disheveled. Half eaten, pitted cherries sat in an open napkin by the window. At one point an employee came out with huge basket of towels and proceeded to fold them in the middle of the salon. If you are going for spa treatment, the area for waxing is not enclosed, except by a sheet like curtain. The staff were pleasant to unfriendly. My daughters' staff person was quite rude while talking loudly to a customer (berating neighboring communities) and it took three times for co-worker to tell her to start on a manicure before she would stop gossiping and start. Don't look for any hand/arm massage with your manicure. Their work was brief, a bit sloppy and uninterested. With so many nail salons to choose from that are considerably better, I would definitely not go back to My Island Spa. My experience was so bad that I did not leave a tip
