LENOVO

It did make a lot of sense for their price, but their customer service was horrible. So that would be one thing I would want to show people on Angie's list, and that I would not recommend buying one of these computers. We paid extra for the service contract with Lenovo and it was supposed to be great, i.e., they would fix anything. We paid a couple of hundred dollars extra for that and it was dreadful. The customer service was horrible. They were just nonexistent and just impossible. I would really warn other Angie's list users, do not buy this product. It was terrible. They were shockingly bad.

After a long time of trying to reach anyone, I got through to them via the phone number which was only available in small print at the bottom of the invoice. I was directed to a local address by an e-mail which included a map. This address was in fact a personal residence. The owner told me he had once worked for IBM, but that was about as close as he'd come to the Lenovo brand; he certainly was not working for the company at that point.

I told them I wanted a return authorization and a paid UPS return label; they were going to send me another unit but I did not want another unit, I wanted only a refund. I was so upset with the way I was treated that I told them I would get on social media, and take them to small claims to recieve restitution if I had to. Fortunately, I purchased with my American Express card; I've already told them the charge was disputed. 

If there was a rating lower than F, I would have given it!

Lenovo had the best price, for the best characteristics. Buying the computer went well. A month after buying the computer, I had a problem. The hard drive crashed. After working with a repair company, I was able to recover all of my very important data. I had pictures on this hard drive that were from a once in a life time vacation. I would use them again.

The experience overall with them has been fine. I would give them an A because there is no problem with the computer & I would use them again in the future.

My experience with this company was fair. The price was a bit of an issue. We were supposed to be lower than it was. We had to do some work to get our rebate. Overall, I would say they were average.
