LET'S JUST SAY THAT AT&T PROVIDES EXCELLENT DSL INTERNET SERVICES AT A FAIR PRICE. IF WE WEREN'T SO HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT, WE WOULD HAVE LEFT AT&T LONG AGO. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES ARE ALWAYS COURTEOUS AND SEEM TO WANT TO BEND OVER BACKWARD FOR US, BUT THEY ALSO SEEM TO HAVE THEIR HANDS TIED BYT COMPANY POLICIES AND AT TIMES HAVE DRASTICALLY DIFFERENT IDEAS ABOUT WHAT THOSE POLICIES ARE. WE JUST MOVED AND MY HUSBAND, WHO WORKS FROM HOME, TALKED TO A SERVICE REP ABOUT A MONTH PRIOR TO MOVING TO MAKE SURE HE WAS DOING EVERYTHING TO MAKE IT SMOOTH. THEY TOLD HIM ALL HE NEEDED TO DO WAS TO CALL A FEW DAYS BEFORE HE NEEDED THE SERVICE AND IT WOULD BE NO PROBLEM TO SWITCH IT RIGHT OVER. WELL, IT TOOK 2 1/2 WEEKS LONGER THAN THEY ORIGINALLY SAID WITH HOURS TALKING TO SERVICE REPS WHO SEEMED LIMITED IN THE HELP THEY WERE ABLE TO OFFER (SEEMED LIKE POLICIES HAD THEM TIED UP). I WILL LEAVE THE DETAILS TO THAT.
