$900 to get rid of bugs. Had them back twice since Dec, and was told they need more money to redo it over.

Andrew did an outstanding job. He took pictures under the house to show me I have a clean bill of health.

They were prompt, professional, they called to follow up and make sure I was ok. The day they came, I had requested the outside to be done and it had rained. They came out another day with out any problem.

Rid-A-Pest of Morehead City, NC conducted my annual termite inspection and Andrew (the inspector) noticed a high humidity reading with some growth starting to form on our beams. He documented the problem with pictures and presented a sound solution
encompassing sealing the crawl space and installing a Horizon dehumidifier.  Given the high humidity at this beach community not only was the job needed but he offered a good price to do the full job, including electrical wiring of the dehumidifier.
Frank with Kent?s assistance performed the difficult job of sealing of the crawl space in the summer heat and properly positioned the dehumidifier.  The job was completed quickly and the humidity levels under our house dropped to normal levels.
Rid-A-Pest has a great team in Andrew, Frank and Kent and I highly recommend their outstanding service.

Sandra kindly arranged the requested termite inspection appointment; Service Manager Jim arrived at my address on time and set right to work. Jim was courteous, professional, responsive to questions, and generally at ease in his approach to the job. The free inspection of our slab home included a look-see in every interior room - hi and low, door frames and windows, external house foundation, garage, external well/pump room, and a shed out building. A clean bill of health for the house, but termite presence in the outbuilding, prompted a helpful discussion on the history of the property, treatment options, price options, and the pros and cons of various courses of action. I am thankful for Jim's direct, affable manner, gentle salesmanship, and candor - the discussion felt like a home improvement chat you might have with a learned friend.

Annual contract: 1st visit did inside and out. Subsequent visits will be outside only. We were not at home for the 2nd visit. We have had no bugs so we have to assume they did a good job!

Inspector showed up for the annual inspection. Upon completion, I was told that while no evidence of termites was found, he had observed a leak in my water line and offered to provide me with pictures of it. Didn't really believe pictures would be required and thanked him for the offer. Plumber came in the next day, but was unable to locate the leak. Decided it must be too small to worry about until the water bill came in the following week. Called Rid-A-Pest and asked that that provide me with a small drawing detailing the leak location. The next day, the inspector was back, when under the house and got me the pictures showing the leak and its location. I am very happy to be doing business with a company that has such dedicated service and employees. Just sorry I can't attach a copy of the picture.

They are pretty loyal and show up on time. They completely do their job. I would use them again in the future.

We were using another company, but we are members of a business networking international group, and they too are members, so we switched over to them because of the loyalty between the various members of that group. We use their services every quarter, and I'd grade them A's across the board.

I called Rid-A-Pest with several issues: very occasional sightings of cockroaches in the interior of my home, daily sightings of rats in my back yard, and a wish to protect my newly renovated home from termites. I spoke with Laura, and she succinctly and expertly explained the options she had to help me with my problems. Two appointments were immediately set-up: one for the pest control/rat baiting and the other for a termite inspection. The pest control aspect was worrisome to me in a couple of ways. I have internal pets, and I didn't want any of the interior pest control to potentially harm them, and the rats outside were feeding from my bird feeder. I told Laura I was unwilling to get rid of the bird feeder and I didn't want to harm any birds, dogs, or cats that might wander in the back. She assured me on both counts. The pest control technician (Steve) was professional...no complaints at all. The termite inspector (Jack) is a man on a mission...to eradicate termites. He gave me his cell phone number (!) and told me to call with any questions I might have. The treatment technician (Michael) worked outside the home for several hours and after he left, the termite inspector showed back up to inspect the work. Wow! The company also sent me a thank you for your business follow up card. I can unhesitatingly recommend this company!
