Beaufort Tile Works

The workers were pleasant and came as promised.  The plumbing works and seemingly has no flaws.  In my opinin, the tile could have been laid better by most anyone with no experience.  The size of the grout lines is inconsistent throughout and depth placement of tiles varies giving an overall lumpy appearance.  They grouted the floor with gray and the walls with white, as requested, but did both at the same time so naturally there was extensive bleeding of each color into the other.  The bleeding was concealed with the extensive use of caulking.  In my opinion the need for and the use of caulk in a tile shower is not indicative of quality or even marginally acceptable tile installation.  The tiles that were cut down to accommodate the door opening are unsightly due to extensive chipping on all of the cut edges.  Our plan was to not have a shower door but given the end cosmetic result decided to have one.   BUT, cannot install glass door because the opening is so wavy that glass cannot be customized to fit.    I would not have had this company perform the job  had I known the outcome..... even if the labor had been FREE.
