The Hotel 4 Cats

The cost was $19 a day. They were really good.

My cat is 20 years old and needs medicine given on time.  Boarding is easier then a sitter, and sometime easier then moving the cat to friends house.   Cat is too old to leave alone for a couple of days.
 

We have used this service for years. have never been disappointed! Chris is great. Hotel very clean.

There are no dogs at The Hotel 4 Cats and they can be together and watch the birds. Even though we have moved 5 hours away, we still board them at The Hotel 4 Cats when we possibly can.

This was my second time using The Hotel 4 Cats to board my cat. I had no hesitation leaving my cat, even though he was recently diagnosed with lymphoma and needed medication daily. I really appreciated the care that Chris and his staff showed my cat! PS, the facility is spotless!

Wonderful as usual. Chris is a professional in every sense of the word. The hotel is impeccably clean and is ran effectively while providing the care and nurturing environment one would expect.

When purchasing the premium package an excellent benefit is provided -- that my wife, especially, truly enjoys -- A "Kitty cam" !  We literally logged into our smartphone from both Italy and Greece and watched Felix from halfway around the globe.  For some perspective, we have been  cat owners previously and have boarded before so we do have a basis for comparison (albeit from a different state) and there is none -- the hotel4cats is the real deal, bottom line. I have been an Angies list member since the original "unified neighbors" days back in Indianapolis and quite frankly should write more reviews than I do, but wanted to take the time to reward a business that should be patronized.

It's all in attention to detail.

One hopes all boarding facilities would provide the basics, but the level of attention to detail is what sets this operation apart. Chris actually called my house to verify Felix's last trip to vet went as planned and reminded me to bring my updated shot records. I thought this was a nice touch as Chris always refers to our cat as "Our friend Felix" like he is an extended member of the family. For the outstanding service provided, I think Hotel4cats is competitively priced, so don't go on the cheap.

 Plus you'd never get to meet the best "house cat" ever, Scooter , who is the real "owner" of the hotel .

We had boarded cats in the past with the Hotel 4 Cats so when we planned our out of town trip, we did not hesitate to call and make a reservation to board the cat we currently have.  Everyone we have met there is always cheerful and friendly and the facility is absolutely immaculate.  It's obvious they love cats and we were able to go out of town knowing Stormy would be well cared for.  There are bird feeders outside the windows so the cats can watch the  birds and they even play "cat" music for their little guests. Cats left in their care receive one on one attention, are brushed daily, petted, etc.  Since Stormy is a large cat, we did pay a few dollars extra to have a larger kennel, he received time in a private playroom and there was even a camera on his kennel and we could log in and observe him.

We would encourage anyone who needs a facility to board their cat  to consider the Hotel 4 Cats. If you do, you will likely never consider taking your cat to another facility as they are wonderful!!

I have used The Hotel 4 Cats on many occasions and always come home to contented, happy kitties.  Every cat is treated as an individual.  The facility is spotlessly clean, well-run, with every effort made to make their stay as pleasant and stress-free as possible.  Highly recommended.

Chris and his staff keep their boarding facility clean and calm. Considering all the litter boxes, this place always smells fresh. It is obviously well tended. It is clear this staff takes pride in their work and that they understand and love cats The facility is a ranch style house with a kitchen, small procedure room for giving cats shots and pills. There is a specific area for individual cat families to play and roam about, but really, each wire enclosure is huge for a single cat and plenty of space for two. I often rent the huge, room sized Palace for my multiple cats. This massive space is big enough to stand in and keeps my cats close to each other and safe while I am away. Scooter is the house mascot. This friendly and curious feline greets customers and "helps" at the front desk! If any cat is stressed out being in view of the other visitors, Chris and his staff cover the cages or block off site lines to help calm any skittish kitties. Every cat has a view through the windows and every window has a bird feeder to attract some entertainment for the cats. There is always soft music playing in the background every time I have boarded my cats here. I have used other facilities in the past to board my cats, but thoses places also catered to dogs as well. I really like the fact that my cats are staying in a place where their needs are first and where they do not have the added stress of barking dogs. They are surrounded by other cats and very kind, professional people whose sole job is to care for felines. Hotel 4 Cats knows what they are doing and they have always been very accommodating to me with special requests for my pets.

We called hotel 4 cats to see if they could keep our cat when our partment flooded. The owner said to bring her in and kept her for 8 days with no reservations. They are always personable and truly love cats. They pet and brush each cat individually every day. We have used them multiple times and will continue to use them.

I leave Sam at the hotel whenever we're out of town.  I miss Sam but I do not worry about him.

Chris and his staff  take excellent care of him.   They  love cats and do their best to make their guests happy.  They play soothing classical music; give them playtime and keep them well-fed.  There are no barking dogs like at other pet boarding facilities;  only cats.

Their owner/manager and his wife are very in tune to cats. They have an immaculate place where the animals are kept. The cages are extremely large and are in 3 tiers that the cats can get on. They are placed in front of windows where the cats can see outside and see bird feeders. They are certain that all animals are up-to-date on their vaccinations. With the animal owner's approval they will take the cats out within the room that the cages are in. They will let the animals get some exercise outside of the cages and play with them. They brush and groom the cats and feed them in the manner and schedule in which the animals are used to being fed.
