SAM-N-HAMMER

Sam came out soon after we called to speak with us and arrange an estimate. He was knowledgeable, had helpful ideas, and professional. The estimate was provided in a reasonable time and we especially liked that he gave full details on estimate. They started the job exactly when he said they would and actually finished ahead of expected time. Sam was involved in making sure that the job was done in they way it should be. They cleaned up after themselves. We are very pleased with the job, and are in fact awaiting an estimate on another smaller project.

The first thing I would have to say is that those guys were very punctual as they were here right when they said that they would be. That is very important to me. I am happy with our porch as it is exactly what we wanted. The color of stain was the perfect shade to match our home. The price was right around where we wanted to spend as well. I appreciated how polite these guys were to us.

Sam did the quoting, but the work was done by someone else who didn't seem too interested in pleasing the customer. Work was satisfactory, but new caulk was not painted because ''he didn't tell me to paint the caulk'' according to the worker.

SAM ALWAYS SHOWED UP ON TIME. HIS PRICES WERE HIGH ESPECIALLY ON THE PAINTING OF MY EXTERIOR. I HAD TO BE CAREFUL WITH HIS ATTENTION TO DETAIL. WHEN REBUILDING MY BATHROOM FLOOR, IT WAS NOT LEVEL WITH THE BEDROOM BY 1 INCH AND I HAD HIM REDO IT AND IT COST ME $1,000. HE BECAME VERY FRUSTRATED WHEN I TOLD HIM THE WALL HE BUILT WAS WAVY. SAM CHANGED A LOT OF MY ELECTRICAL OUTLETS AND THEY ARE NOT WORKING PROPERLY. HIS FINISHING WORK WAS OK. I PREFER MY WALLS TO BE COMPLETELY SMOOTH. I AM ONE OF THE PICKY HOME OWNERS.
