I was unhappy with some of the work. For example, I asked him to replace ceiling tiles in the basement that were stained or chipped, and paint the tracks that hold them. I also asked him to touch up paint on trim. When he stated he was finished he asked me to come and look at the ceiling. I have extremely difficult circumstances in my life right now and I know that I was careless in my review of his work. A day or two later I noticed that two of the tiles which were chipped were not changed. When I called to ask him about it he said, " You approved the job." Explaining that I hadn't been careful enough with my review he said he would come by. A couple of days later he texted me that he was coming past my house and would stop in to fix them. He didn't show, and sent a text saying he was sorry he missed me and would have to reschedule. I don't know if that meant he came and we were not there or what. We were at home throughout the day, and the garage door was open. Perhaps we were in the back yard, however since he had worked back there it would make sense if he had come he would have looked to see if we were there. I later sent a text and a photo of the item in question reminding him that I felt he should stand by the quality of his work. Regarding the paint touch up, I had asked him to look at the trim and caulk and touch up the paint where needed. When, during the review I pointed out obvious undone places he said I hadn't mentioned those specific places. While he was here I asked about some other handyman items. He said he would estimate the job and get back to me. He did not do that (even before I mentioned the incomplete items). I believe his price was fair had he done what he said he would do. I resent being treated like this from someone who purports to be guided by Christian principles
