MR ED'S CUSTOM PAINTING

Horrible! Ed subs the work out to a crew. He was on site to quote the job and to get paid - that's it. Ed came out on the Friday night before Thanksgiving to get paid for the job. We quickly walked through the job and I pointed out problem areas. We paid Ed $1000 in good faith and he indicated he would come back the Monday after Thanksgiving and correct all problems. A closer evaluation of the work was then performed in the daylight and a punch list was created. The punch list along with a letter was sent to Mr. Ed. No reply was made for 2-3 weeks. We called Ed and went through a few weeks of back and forth to arrange when he would finish the job. On January 15th 2007, I called him. He said he would come out and finish but he would not reference the punch list. He said he threw my list in the garbage because I was being too picky. He was very belligerent on the phone. We decided to fix the problems ourselves instead of paying him to do more sloppy work.

They did a fantastic job. The work was top notch. I plan to have them drywall and paint another room in my house soon.

Showed up as promised. When delayed always called to advise. Had some quality issues which were quickly addressed. Ed responded to our concerns and was very customer friendly to deal with. Had some brush stroke issues around jambs. When pointed out, Ed rolled over the areas and made them right. We messed up one paint selection (our fault) and Ed was fair and easy to work with to redo.

ON TIME, CAREFUL, COURTEOUS, ATTENTIVE TO DETAIL, NEAT WORK, GOOD CLEAN UP, REASONABLY PRICED.

HE STARTED THE NEXT DAY, PRICE WAS AVERAGE, HEARD ABOUT HIM THROUGH WORD OF MOUTH.
