The work was well executed and repairs were made to sprinkler lines that were inadvertently cut during the work. Repairs were done at no cost.

I found the provider through Angie's List and really wanted to use a provider that wasn't a big time company with the hope of receiving better service at a reasonable cost. The relationship started out badly with the provider. I had to call multiple times to schedule a initial meeting with the provider. After finally getting a meeting scheduled during my lunch hour, I waited for close to an hour after the scheduled time and the provider didn't show up. I called to check and the provider seemed to have simply forgotten about the meeting and didn't seem to have written it down. I should've learned my lesson then and moved on but I wanted to give the provider a second chance and I really believe in the people on Angie's List.
The provider did come out later and checked over my yard and gave me a quote for the initial service without me having to be there. The services quoted were provided at the quoted cost. I was happy with work that was done at that point.
After the initial treatment and aeration we discussed the cost and schedule of the regular treatment throughout the year. The scheduled treatments were supposed to have started within a month of initial work. After 2 months of not seeing anyone or receiving a phone call I called the provider back to check to see what the issue was. The response I received was all I needed to hear, he didn't think I wanted to pay for the services he offered at the cost he quoted and he had meant to call me for "a while" but in my opinion he just seemed to never get around to it.
The provider seems very nice and was overly apologetic for forgetting the initial meeting but after receiving the same response on what I thought was a scheduled service I needed to move on and find someone else.

Mr. Valentine contacted me within 24 hours of my initial contact through his website. He came by shortly thereafter, at which time we discussed my needs and my budget. Though there were a few delays due to weather and a holiday, he got back to me as soon as he could with a proposal. His proposal was significantly higher than my original budget but I approved the work to be done as soon as it could be scheduled. The crew arrived to do the work a day after originally confirmed (due to weather problems), but the finished product was worth the additional money. His employees are professional, polite, willing to answer any and all questions, and pleasant to have around the house. They did a thorough job and cleaned up the yard and the road in front of the house when their installation was completed.  Mr. Valentine came by immediately after the job was completed to be sure I was satisfied and to answer any questions.

They showed up promptly to give us a bid.  The work was completed shortly after accepting the bid.  They did a great job trimming the bushes and trees.  They then did a wonderful job of cleaning up the cuttings.
When the job was completed, Tim (the owner) checked with us in person to make sure that we were happy with what was done.

I contacted Tim through the Angie's List site and he returned my call promptly. He listened to my needs and set out to provide a design that met multiple concerns. He was extremely professional, polite, and easy to work with. His team was a pleasure to be around and very proud of the work they did - as they should be. I would certainly recommend Tim and his team to others.

The owner, Tim Valentine is great to work with.  From the initial appointment, to estimate, to follow-up to performing services has been fast.  This is just the first phase - pruning bushes and trees - but the results are wonderful.  I strongly recommend Mooresville Landscaping.
