Massey Septic Tank Co Inc

Called as expected and showed up on time. Very pleasant and helpful man, worked alone to find the tank, and dig in my lawn and located the tank lids.  He dug in only the areas that was necessary, and afterwards, filled the holes and did a pretty good job considering that he's in the septic business and NOT a landscaper. 

Didn't mind me watching and asking questions.  Explained what I should and shouldn't do for a healthy septic system. 

He was very efficient, wasted no time at all.

The only thing that put me off is when he had to "call in" for the price of the bacteria that he added to my system.  That seemed a little dodgy.... he should know the price of this... he sells it all day long.

We were very satisfied with it. They did a very fine job.

When our septic alarm went off I called Massey and they sent Bill and Chuck out right away (there was a third guy who sat in a chair the entire time). They discovered that a pipe connection had come apart and that our pump float switch was defective. They gave me a quote which I told them I had to discuss with my husband who I couldn't get on the phone because he was in a meeting. I told them I would call them after my husband and I had a chance to discuss it. They then told me there would be a $125 charge for the service call which no one in their office had mentioned. Just as they were about to leave, my husband called and authorized the repair. They fixed the problems and activated our septic tank and adjusted the drain field, all of which took about an hour. The guys were pleasant and knew what they were doing but after discussing this with others who have had similar services performed by other septic companies, we feel they are far too expensive to ever use again.
