The owner of Lessons on The Lake, Valerie Kismir, is a wonderful piano teacher. I don't know where she finds all of her energy (every day/all day). She is always pleasant, professional and obviously experienced. While I am an adult student I have watched her interact with her younger students and she is always supportive of their goals and patient with their challenges. She loves her work and it shows. I would highly recommend her for both the young (and not so young) students wanting to learn the piano.

This is our fifth year with Lessons on The Lake, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the school. It’s proving to be one of the best decisions we’ve made for our children. Their confidence and self-esteem have been growing alongside their talents in music, which have developed remarkably through these years. Valerie Kasmir, the school’s owner, is a fun-loving and devoted teacher. She is truly inspiring, and our children have thrived under her direction. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is considering music lessons.
