We're taking him to small claims court, along with some other unsatisfied customers that had very disturbing things to say about this individual. They painted my entire house.  Not a bad job there but the very inexperienced crew that was sent damaged my windows while trying to work on minor repairs. It was a $14,000 job that they never finished because they were supposed to come back and remediate the damages and never did. Greg, the owner, promised to do right but never came back. He will not answer calls nor texts. Do not advance any money or he will disappear. 

This review is about 2 years late, my wife and I forgot to review them, but it’s held up so well. Color turned out perfectly. They didn’t skimp or cut corners. They did forget to apply a second coat to our front porch but immediately came back to fix for free upon request. We picked them because of their funny slogan and it ended up a great value.

Wonderful. I am late getting this review on Angie's list. I had Greg's Painting to paint my interior 1st level including closet, laundry and garage. Salesman, Shaun had the same team members out each day. The team was on time daily (huge plus!), very skilled and efficient. They also cleaned as they painted and did a final clean up. Retouched what we asked the team to do(only a couple of spots). Communication was good and they did not deviate from the job. We are picky and Shaun and his team worked with us. They did a previous job on the second level removing popcorn ceilings including the 2 story foyer ceiling then painted the entire 2nd floor and the foyer. Same great job as this one. We will also used them for our exterior paint job.

Excellent!!! The job was done exactly as promised and on time.

IT went very well. He was "johnny on the spot" from day one. It would have went faster if Mother Nature would have been a better friend for the outdoor work. We were also coordinating some windows to be replaced and some flooring and Gregs' crew played very nicely with others! We also had them sand down our banister that is back breaking work. His team was meticulous and caring.

Great job, cleaned up continually and inspected daily until the job was completed. No complaints.

We worked with Shaun Lackey at Greg's Custom Painting and he was very attentive to our schedule considering the large scope of work that was being done and how long it might take. It was completed on time and we were very pleased with the quality of work and the professionalism of his crew.

Not well. Very inexperienced team showed up and were extremely sloppy. Siding work resulted in a very damaged roof as no attempt was made to protect the roof during the extensive repairs, Efforts to get the roof repaired were fruitless. Very poorly supervised and numerous visits needed to just complete the basics and the missed areas. Will say the first time Greggs was used 5 years ago it was a great job. This one terrible.

Unbelievable job these guys did! From start to finish I actually felt that they cared and made the entire process simple for me. It all started from a phone call by Shaun and he took care of me every step of the way.. Best customer service I have ever had by an Individual in my entire life. From the workers to the follow up call from Shaun it was amazing. Thank you so much for everything your company did and I will use them for the rest of my life. These guys really are the best..

Professional, Excellent repair and carpentry work. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends. I will definitely use them again. The work took about 4 days, they were always punctual and cleaned up the work area daily.

From first contact to the end of project my experience with Greg’s customer painting was pleasant.

Work was completed in one week. The overall result is very good. They use good quality products and were able to keep the timeline they scheduled.

gregs workers completed the job in 1 day ..........really in only a couple of hours. they were very neat and they left no mess . the price was very fair .

It went very well. I accepted Shaun's on a estimate on a Thursday, he emailed me the contract on Friday, I emailed back asking about the possibility of electronic payment of deposit, we talked on Sunday and they got started on Monday. First day: 3 hours washing all trim and woodwork. Second day: caulking, scraping and started painting trim and downspouts from 830am until 5pm. Third day: continued painting trim, shutters, doors, carpenter replaced several pieces of rake board, fascia, soffit and shingle moulding from 830am until 2 or 3pm. They would have finished this day, but got caught in a rain storm before they could finish caulking and painting all the wood repair. Fourth day: caulk and paint repaired woodwork from 930am until 11am. They brushed the trim and downspouts, sprayed the gutters. The only thing they could have done better was some cleanup. They got the larger pieces of old paint scrapings picked up off the ground, bushes, deck and window sills, but not all of it. I went around with the leaf blower and blew it all out into the grass, the lawn mower will eventually take care of it.

Overall the work they do is outstanding. All the crews that did the painting were amazing. No complaints on the work whatsoever. In comparison the price they charge is below what most other companies will charge. Everyone in the organization is professional, courteous, and they know their business. If there is a small negative it is the way they manage their schedules. At certain points we were given 1 day to prepare for them to come out (pictures off the walls, furniture moved, etc) and then they wouldn't make it out until 2 days after they were supposed to start. But, the communication is there. It's not like they just don't show with no phone call or email. So in the grand scheme it really isn't a big deal, it was just that our house was packed up for a few extra days that we weren't expecting. If you get a chance to hire them you should. They are excellent!!!!

They were efficient and the quality is great. Day one they pressure washed the entire house, day two they caulked everything and started painting, day three they finished the painting. There were a few spots that i wanted Shaun to look at, which he did and he made a few extra repairs. Everything looks great and they did a good job cleaning up when the job was done. Very satisfied.

It went very well! Greg was extremely prompt in having his lead carpenter come to my home for an estimate. Oscar was very thorough in explaining how the work would be done. They showed up for work on time. They did an excellent job prepping the whole first floor by covering our newly installed flooring with paper and put down additional protection where ladders would be used. Oscar and Joshua did a great job in removing some old trim and installing the new trim. They were approachable and willing to show us options how how certain things would look (where applicable) before installing the molding. When they were finished the job they did a good job cleaning everything up. They also didn't play music when they worked, something I appreciate! Overall the work that was done was excellent. I highly recommend using Greg's company for carpentry work.

Greg's is the only painter I've ever used. He does all of my interior and exterior painting, this last service being the interior. He has a great team. They're very professional and clean up well. His team of painters is one of the best around.

They're reliable.

It went very well. It was the 4th time that we hired painters for doing work at the house and Greg's Custom Painting was by far the best. They gave an estimate expense and time wise and held close to both. They discovered a couple of repair issues while working but discussed with us before taking action. Also, they went over by a day but they communicated that as well. We did not have an issue with that because we could see how thorough they were being with the work. Shaun who managed our job and the entire crew were professional and friendly as well as on time each day.

The crew was fantastic. I've hired many painting crews over the years, including several highly rated painters from Angie's List, and these guys were the best. Competitively priced for the quality of supplies and the work performed. These guys are perfectionists.

eveything went well, walls & trim turned out great. We thought cabinets would be sprayed but they were rolled. They still came out good. They Worked well in our tight time frame. Professional, responsive, dilligent, priced very fairly.

Greg and his crew did a wonderful job for us. We are extremely pleased with how attractive our house looks now.

Painters were professional. Sales associate checked in on progress and also to make sure everything was going well. Painters performed a walk through so they could address any issues I found after they completed the job.
