Garage Experts of Greater Charlotte

After three attempts to perform the agreed upon, contracted application of epoxy coating on my new concrete garage floor it still is not correct. Garage Experts did offer to continue to fix their unacceptable (missed areas, wrong product, poor installation), I needed to use my garage, workshop so I told get out and not come back.

Ron (owner/sales) was responsive and easy to work with. His team (Peter & Richard) were exceptional and did a great job. The floor looks terrific.

Job was completed on time and let sit for the recommended length of time before using. As soon as I started to use the new epoxy floor the top coat started to flake. I have made several phone calls with no answer and left messages with no response.

My sales contact was Bill Larson who is well known in the Sun City Carolina Lakes community for excellent work and fair pricing. Bill showed us examples of the work done with many options and the obvious quality from Garage Experts. Our garage concrete floor had severe pit marks from battery acid from a golf cart. It was unsightly and I had a rubber mat hiding it from view. Bill assured me that the crew would prep the concrete and the floor would not show any signs of the problem. I was amazed at the results. The floor was prepped, coated with the color selected, flakes applied and epoxy sealed in less than one day. WOW. The finished product looks like glass. We were instructed to keep the cars off for three days to let the epoxy cure after the job was done and we have enjoyed the result. I might add that my neighbors had used an epoxy "kit" several years ago and applied it themselves. There is no comparison and the results and the time and labor they spent was not worth it (in my opinion).

We researched 3 very reputable garage floor companies and made the decision to go with Garage Experts. This was a very wise decision! Ron was very prompt in getting a visit scheduled to give us an estimate on an epoxy floor for our 2 car garage. In fact, he was at our home the same day that I contacted them. Ron very much impressed me with his professionalism and enthusiasm of his product. He offered to show me a job that Garage Experts had just finished in my neighborhood. I was very impressed with the quality of their work. The other 2 companies were quick with an estimate, but did not show the enthusiasm or initiative that Ron demonstrated. It was an easy decision to go with Ron and Garage Experts. The install was done by Peter and Rich and they were awesome. It was obvious they were experts in their field and paid close attention to detail. I was extremely impressed when they caulked around the edges of my entire garage and brought the epoxy floor right up to walls. I have seen several jobs by other companies and they left a gap between the floor and wall. The guys had the entire job done in a little over 5 hours and the final result exceeded our expectations. Several,of my neighbors stopped by to see the work in progress and were amazed at the process and quality of work. This is one company that I would highly recommend if you are looking to have a professional and beautiful looking garage floor. I love this company!!

The lifetime warranty was one we picked up at the Southern Living show where we met the owner
We have a blank warranty
As mentioned, we received emails about coming by, about warranty and so on
We like the product, just would not recommend the company because of quality of work

I met with the representative from the company before our new house was built. We selected an epoxy flooring color for the garage based on a few samples. Later, we attended a local Home and Garden show and saw larger samples. As a  result, we changed our mind and selected a flooring that we are now well-pleased with. I would recommend that anyone considering this company, make sure you review a large sample of the proposed epoxy floor before you decide.. Too be clear, I am not suggesting the representative made a mistake, but for us it was helpful to see several a larger sample.  Had we not gone to the Home and Garden show, we would have made a mistake and my wife would have been unhappy. After we closed on the house, two men came and did an excellent job with the applying the epoxy. The representative and two workers were very professional and courteous.

After reviewing a number of service providers and then visiting them at the local home show, we decided on Garage Experts of Charlotte. Jill was our sales person who came out and measured the garage and gave us an estimates on the spot. The estimate was a lot lower than I had expected. Ron worked with us on scheduling and was very easy to work with. The crew showed up on time and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them.

Ron was my sales person.  He came out promptly and gave us an estimate after measuring our 2 car and 1 car garage.  Price was very fair compared to other estimates I received.  His crew came on time, performed the service and cleaned up before they left.  The garage floors look amazing.  So glad we found this company.  I would recommend them without hesitation.

After doing my homework I chose to go with Garage Experts of Charlotte for their reputation, quality of work, and products used. No pushy sales tactics, just the opposite. Excellent communications. They explained each step of the process. I wanted something a little different from their standard install and they provided at no extra cost. The finish results are outstanding. I could not be happier!
