I was very pleased with the work that was done. I liked the Sunrise window line they offered and I was pleased with the installation work that was done. I am especially pleased with the appearance and the relatively narrow frames of these windows. At the end I had something of a punch list but all the items were properly addressed. We have now some cold weather and we are seeing a reduction in air infiltration and lower utility bills. And I have no complaints.

The installers arrived on the date and time we were told and were very professional and friendly.  They removed our old gutters and installed new gutters, downspouts and Leaf Solution.  The installers were here most of the day and when they were finished everything was cleaned up.  There wasn't even a nail left in the yard.  We can not say enough about this company, the installers or the product. 

Everything went great. I researched several companies to do the replacement windows. The builder in my neighborhood put in cheap windows in our house. Several other houses in the neighborhood have already replaced their windows. G&S offered the best quality windows for the money (Sunrise windows)Their ratings are significantly better than anything you will find at Lowe's or Home Depot and are cheaper. The project went as planned. The windows came in on time. The installation was delayed a few days due to the crazy weather we are having this summer but that is no fault of G&S (and they were very good about keeping me informed). I dealt mainly with George on the sales side and he was great to work with. He answered all of my questions and we worked through all the options to get within the budget. I would definitely recommend G&S contracting for future work.

Estimate for several different options was supplied after choosing, work done in a professional. I was very satisfied with results and would recommend to anyone needing a contractor.

I called and scedualed my estimate. One of the owners (Randy) came to my home to give me the estimate. He answered all my questions and concerns. I loved that he knew so much about gutter protection, not just his products but other products as well. He didn't use sales tactics or stay at our house forever. He gave us a fair price and told us to call him if we had any questions. We choose to do business with G&S Contracting. They scheduled us right away. My job was completed within 3 weeks. The installers did a great job. They where very clean cut and polite. After everything was finished. Randy came back out to make sure we were happy. I can't say enough about this company. We had a wonderful experience. I actually just signed a contract for G&S Contracting to replace my windows as well.

G&S was the only bidder who actually came to the site, took measurements and provided a firm price. Other two Angie's A-Listers eiher failed to show or called in an estimate from a internet/satellite view of the house. The latter provided an estimate 15 feet more than actual, with smaller gutters and downspouts, and a price literally three times higher. G&S sub-ed out the work to a quality team, but stayed in contact before and after the job to ensure it was done well. When I reported a minor problem, he had it fixed later the same day.

They did a wonderful job at a very fair price. They cleaned up and they came when they were supposed to come. I can’t say anything bad about them. They did a great job. George is the owner. I spent $4000 for their services. They did a very professional job. They were very good. They should have been here an extra day because they underestimated how long it would take and they stayed till 9 o’clock at night in the dark. I was a little upset that they were cutting the things in the dark. However, it was fine and they did good work. I was a little upset because Randy didn’t come. They knew what they were doing. I would recommend them. I have told them that they can use my house for pictures or whatever they need.

We called G&S for pricing on a specific gutter guard which they promptly quoted. They also suggested a different brand (new product, same price) and offered to send a sample out the same day. We could not tell from the sample if the brand was as good as the one we requested. G&S suggested we come to their showroom where they had both models installed on a 6' gutter with water running over both. It was easy to see that the new brand was superior for the Carolinas and that is what we bought. The installation was perform two weeks later in just a few hours. The performance of the gutter guards has been as advertised - pine needles, leaves and shingle grit wash over the guards as the water flows into the gutter through the fine mesh. Worst case we will need to blow the leaves and needles that collect in the valleys of the roof. We are very pleased with gutter guards and the working with G&S.

G&S owner, George Sumrow, personally performed the inspection and gave us an estimate a day or two following our call. I was invited to visit G&S's showroom in Mooresville to observe their gutter protection system and several other "Leaf Guard" competitive examples. The G&S system was the only one that did not trap leaves or deposit them into the gutter itself. Their system employs a simple steel mesh over the gutter. The mesh is fine enough so that the "grit" off of a shingled roof will not pass through it. Neither will pine needles. Work took less than half a day and was performed about two weeks after the estimate was accepted due to their workload at the time. Both installers were professional and courteous. They cleaned the site up prior to leaving. Very satisfied with the results so far. The final price represents a significant discount over other estimates for "Leaf Guard" systems.

IT TOOK TOO MUCH TIME, AND TOO MANY PHONE CALLS ON MY PART TO GET AN APPOINTMENT FOR THEM TO COME OUT. ONCE THEY BECAME RESPONSIVE HOWEVER, THE EXPERIENCE IMPROVED GREATLY. THE CREW WAS PROFESSIONAL.
