Project went well. This was a 2 year refresh of flat surfaces. The original cleaning, sanding, and staining two years ago was also fantastic. Probably not the lowest price, but the best. The one who stained, Joey, was a pleasure to work with and very neat.

The project involved was cleaning the wood putting a superior stain finish on a new deck that had weathered over the winter months. The owner was friendly and professional when he arrived for the estimate. Everything stated in the estimate was completed as described and exceeded expectations to a large degree. Great! Work was done promptly and well. There were many stain colors from which to choose with realistic guarantee. The crew was careful of our shrubs. The deck is 25 years old and looks fantastic! We ran into a week of rain, but the crew was able to work around it.

It went extremely well from start to finish. John, the owner was very responsive and wanted to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction. I had always stained my own deck, but decided it was time for a professional to come in and do it. My wife and I went back and forth with John about what we thought we wanted. We had a water based stained that covered the deck that made it difficult to clean and take off, but John’s team still made it look like brand new again. We ended up going with a three tone colored deck. Dark brown for the railings, white for the posts, and a light brown (grayish brown) for the deckboards. I also had John’s team pressure wash the overhang above my deck and the front porch. I will definitely rehire him in the future to restrain my deck when it wears down from the sun and elements.

We recently relocated to this area, Aug 2017, and the house we are in has an older large deck in need of some serious cleaning and resurfacing. Just recently I contacted Deck Medic of Lake Norman for an appraisal of what needs to be done, and the estimated cost of this work. John, the owner, personally came out to explain what would be done, and how he arrives at the cost associated with getting the deck back into shape.
