Copper Construction and Contracting

This is a review of Travis Foster and his construction companies, Copper Construction and Contracting as well as, Build Charlotte. We hired Travis Foster to do a major renovation on our home by pushing a wall out 14' on two floors as well as renovating two bathrooms. Travis was almost never at our house to monitor the work of his crew or his sub-contractors. His work was so poor and so sub-standard, we filed a complaint with the NC Licensing Board of General Contractors. That inquiry resulted in Travis Foster being found guilty of work that did not meet Iredell County Building Code and he was reprimanded. This is the second time he has been reprimanded. We had to hire our own electrician, painter, flooring company, dry-waller, roofer, HVAC and plumber to fix all the horrible work Travis Foster did on our house. Well over $200K was spent to fix everything Travis Foster screwed up. Do not hire this man or anyone affiliated with Build Charlotte, LLC or Copper Construction and Contracting. Travis and his team were phenomenal to work with and we couldn't be happier with the result. Travis was key in helping us add a TV/receiver system that was protected from the weather ( We did not want a fireplace so he custom made a hanging system for our unit.) Travis helped guide us through the process and offered very valid recommendations to ensure a quality product. In addition to our screen porch, Travis created a walk out patio from stamped concrete that looks amazing.
