I got lucky and Richard was between jobs and was able to come right over to give me an estimate. He came in a little less than I expected so I gave him the work. He was able to go get his equipment and start right away. The work was done professionally, the yard was cleaned up and he was gone before too long.

Richard is professional and quoted a fair price to remove the top of a poplar tree hanging precariously over our well. He removed the damage safely and cleaned the entire area. It was a small job but he treated the job with care and I appreciated this type of care very much.

Richard Darr came with several workers, cleared the yard, engineered the removal tree from the lake, cut it up, shredded the branches, ground the stump and stacked larger pices so we could use as firewood. The job took him around 5-6 hours. He was VERY careful about the grass and irrigation. The only reason I gave quality a B was because I had to rake the area of willlow leaves and small switch-like small pieces afterwards. That aspect of clean up took me about 30 minutes. If you hire Richard, do not let his 'country boy' appearance and demanor fool you. Richard know trees and has done work for us before. I was able to get the job on the calendar within a week of his giving me an estimate. I would hire him again.

These guys did everything they said and more, removing giant trees like surgeons. Cleaned up after themselves as good as can be expected after their chainsaws were cutting away for 2 days...

I hired Advantage because Richard offered to do the job without tearing up the lawn and irrigation system by dropping boughs or using a crane, something I was very concerned about. The job was complicated by the fact that this tree was leaning on and partially wrapped around a large oak which I wanted to retain. He made good on his promise. It was amazing to watch Richard and crew cut huge branches weighing almost a half ton, then gently lowering them to the ground with ropes. They cleaned everything up, and after they left, you wouldn't have known they were there. Fantastic. Very professional. I highly recommend this company.
