We started with this company over 5 months ago to refinance our current home loan.   After a number of delays we had to re-send information a number of times.  The main problem was communication.  We were not updated on a regular basis of the status.   We also received promised phone calls that did not happen afer both myself and my wife sent emails and left a number of voice mail messages.
We decided to termiinate our refinancing with this company on 9/28/12 and would not recommend this company to anyone.

I have worked with David Jr three times on the refinancing of my home. Each time I was extremely happy with the results he gave me. David Jr was able to lock in a great interest rate and guide me through the process so I can see a very nice saving on my mortgage payment. David Jr and his entire staff did a tremendous job helping me with everything I needed. I have used Whitley Mortgage for several loan transactions over the years. I have obtained both conventional and also government type (FHA) loans from Whitley. David Whitley Jr was my loan officer and he helped us to navigate through the mortgage process and explained things in a way that made us really confortable with the transaction. This kind of thing can be very intimidating and confusing! On our last loan, it looked like the underwriter wanted to decline our loan request but David was able to speak with the underwriter and negotiate a loan that was acceptable to both us and the lender. If we ever need any kind of mortgage loan in the future, we will definitely be contacting David Jr at Whitley Mortgage.

We are definitely in our Dream Home today because of David Whitley and his team at Whitley Mortgage Company. We used David Jr at Whitley Mortgage for a construction loan and then for the permanent loan when our house was completed. We found our experience with Whitley Mortgage very positive. David delivered exactly what he promised and guided us thru the mortgage process in an efficient manner.

I have now used the services of Whitley Mortgage twice. Once when purchasing my home and the second when refinancing and the service was great on both occaisions. Whitley Mortgage was responsive and aggressive in ensuring that I got the best deal. When procuring my first mortgage, the market was easy which didn?t allow me to see Whitley Mortgage?s true skill. With my refinance, the market for mortgages had significantly tightened. Because of neutral to declining appraisal values and much stricter guidelines regarding income calculations, we came precariously close to losing the loan. Whitley Mortgage wrote a 3-page appeal to the appraisal company and worked directly with the underwriters to point out oversights and flaws in their calculations. These actions are the sole reason we were able to gain loan approval. On top of that, they were able to get a loan of 3.99% 30-yr fixed. Without Whitley Mortgage?s effort, we would not have gotten our refinancing and would not now be saving over $300 per month in mortgage expense. I would highly recommend their services and will use them again in the future.
