Great experience with Southern Oak Viewscapes! I hired them to remove six large trees in the backyard. I had multiple quotes and Southern Oak was the best by far. The crew was professional and effective, and had the job done a half day earlier than expected. I would definitely recommend them!

Patrick and the rest of his crew did amazing work. They quickly and safely removed a large tree in our backyard near the deck. They also took down a limb that was hanging over my neighbors house and cleaned out the dead from some of our other large trees. I highly recommend Southern Oak and will use them again for all future tree services.

We were extremely pleased with the work performed by Patrick and his crew. Patrick responded quickly to my call and was able to come by and provide us an estimate immediately. He explained the options regarding the width and depth of grinding the stump, which was very helpful. He, Chad and Jason came later the same day to remove the tree. They worked quickly, carefully and efficiently in taking the tree down, clearing the debris and loading it into their trailer. They made sure that not a twig or leaf remained on the driveway. Shawn, who later did the stump grinding, also did an excellent job. The stump grinding was included in the contract. It was a pleasure to do business with Patrick and his crew, and we will definitely call on them again.

I contacted Southern Oak on 1/31/19. Next day, Patrick just happened to be near my neighborhood. He came immediately, gave me a good quote. providing that I accepted his price and he did the work the same day. He and his crew did an excellent job. I truly believe they are the best tree service company around Charlotte. I highly recommend anyone needing tree/landscape services to give them a call. I rarely give out 5 stars to any service providers, but Patrick definitely deserve this recognition.

These guys are awesome! After my initial call Price came over the next day and gave me an estimate to prune 2 trees and remove a dead one. We scheduled the work to be done and his crew was courteous, prompt and cleaned up after themselves at the appointed time-no mess left for me. My husband was home during the pruning process and they asked him if everything had been done to his satisfaction-it's nice to have good old fashioned customer service these days!

Excellent! Quote was around $600 less than competitors prices. The crew was easy to work with, prompt, and fast. The clean up was immaculate. After removing 4 trees and grinding out the stumps, they left a completely level ground. They removed and hauled away all debris, even the tiniest limbs sticks. Top notch, highly recommend!

Overall, we were extremely pleased with the tree removal and thinning, including stump grinding of one tree. What we were not told about was that our yard would be destroyed, since they worked on a day after a heavy rainfall. The heavy equipment should not have been used on the second day.

"I apologize for not properly informing you of the extent of the work that was taking place. We removed around 10 or so very large and heavy sweet gums in that area. We only had a small concentrated area to work to preserve the walkways and other parts of the yard. Rain or not with the amount of debris and materials we had to remove in the small area of the yard we would have more than likely done the same amount of damage. I hired Price and his team to take down several trees in my yard, a few that were right next to the house. The experience was fantastic. Price came out and looked over the property. He provided a clear quote for all that needed to be done. We agreed, and then the date was set. The day of, his team showed up with everything needed. They worked with great skill in taking down the larger trees and you could tell safety was a high priority. As a matter of fact, watching the climber do his work was something quite amazing. His skill and attention to detail was impressive! They removed all traces of the trees, even to the point of raking and blowing off the front yard. The stumps were ground down to mulch and my property looks so much better. The service was professional, quick and responsive and the overall costs were quite favorable. I have already recommended this group to a few friends, and would highly recommend to anyone that asks without hesitation.

Price showed up on time to our home and gave us a quote right on the spot. We scheduled the work for a few weeks out and he was great about communicating with us prior to that date. He and his crew showed up early and worked for about 2 1/2 days. They did a great job raising the canopy on large, tall oak trees in the front of our home making them look balanced and beautiful. This alone made a huge improvement to our property as it opened up the view of our home from the street. They removed a 45’ pine tree and a 40’ sweegum from the front of our house. The side of our house looked like an overgrown mess of a jungle and was in desperate need of a clean up! We had them cut down 15 trees (possibly more) that were a mix of sweetgums, oaks and maples and haul them off. These trees were about 45 to 50 feet tall. They cleared out and cleaned up the entire side of our house opening it up for new landscaping. We had three large shrubs removed from up against the front of our house. They removed three 40’ Lelands from our driveway area. The stumps were grinded from the Leland trees and the large shrubs that were against our home. Price and everyone who worked with him on this job were friendly and professional. My husband and I were very impressed at how hard they all worked. I highly recommend this company!

Exceptionally professional service all around! Price was very thoughtful in explaining what would be required for the tricky work required to remove the massive limb that extended over top of the house. The entire team was very nice and they performed the work in less time than was originally quoted. The grounds were left spotless and they hauled away all of the wood and limbs without disturbing the landscaping. I highly recommend Price and his entire team and will definitely be using them in the future.

They removed the tress and multiple shrubs and ground the stumps and left the yard cleaner than when they arrived. Price quickly responded and provided a quote and within a couple of weeks the work was done. I am very pleased with the work and will definitely hire them again.

The crew arrived on time and was efficient in cutting the trees down. The job took a little less than 6 hours from cutting to cleaning up. I highly recommend getting a detailed quote from Price on the job you want to be performed. For example, if you want stump grinding + cleanup, make sure he writes 'stump grinding + cleanup' on the quote. A quote that just says, "cutting down tree A, B, C and stump grinding on tree C" is incomplete. And in that case if you want the debris to be removed you'll be charged more than the quoted price. Also, measure the depth from the ground to the stump after the grinding process. If you agreed to 6 inches of grinding make sure you measure it. The guy who came to grind the stump bluffed me into believing that he grinded 12 inches. Mine is barely 4 inches and I couldn't even measure this depth when the job was done because of all the debris and mulch that surrounded the once existing tree. A few days later I see that it's barely 4 inches.
