Being a local family man & Historic Homeowner myself ,I fully understand just how projects can build up fast ....... From that leaky faucet, over running toilet , the ceiling fan not working, doors jamming, rotten boards, and many other problems that pop up from time to time Or maybe you feel its time to have that change of scenery ,update your Kitchen , put that new roof on , add a room , put in new ceiling fans ,build that deck, but thought this project might be too much for you to do,or to complicated or you just don't have time. Philip Millward was very nice. He had several men to do the work. He loaned our son a sander to help put in a French door that was not going in well. So the owner of the company is very nice. The problem was the work wasn't sealed properly. The boots or fascia boards that were replaced looked ok when all was done. Home Solutions didn't seal the boots up properly and now the damage that followed has been devastating. Over a short time, there was shingle rot from plywood near the fascia boards that became soft and rotten, water began to enter the home causing damage to the ceiling, and a huge mess that will cost thousands to correct. We would never recommend them or want them to return at any time. I've waited almost 2 years to give this recommendation and felt I had to speak up. Think twice before asking Home Solutions to solve your problem.

"We have no record of working for the above named person or address , and if we had been called to say there was a problem , we would have rectified , a plumbing boot is self sealing , and indeed the only sealant , used would be on the exposed nail heads , rot does not happen over night , and I suggest we are being made scape goats for someone else's, bad work."

Came out one with-in one day of call.  This service address was in Charlotte. promptly completed work including the roof which was an extra.
PM Solutions is the service I have used for years in Monroe at my rental property.  They have keys to my units and are completely professional and trustworthy.  I travel in my work and could not manage without them.  I am glad that they also include Charlotte in their service area.

Regarding this project, I had tried to paint the woodwork myself and made a real mess of it all. They came in and fixed my mistakes and now the woodwork looks like new. Once that project finished we realized right away we needed the ceilings painted. What a difference. They will be starting a new project in the next few weeks. There's no one better than PM Home Solutions.

It went quite well. With my three year old granddaughter running around trying to help them, I think they did a great job. They came a little early, but did not come in until the appointed time. You can't tell where they did the work on the ceiling.

They did a great job. They had a crew of four working on the roof. They finished the roof in about 2 and a half days. They did an excellent job with clean up, they hauled everything away and we did not have to worry about nails in our driveway. Philip is one of the partners and he was very easy to talk to, listened to our concerns and made modifications to the roof from our concerns. They were upfront about the estimate and the chance there could be additional charges if they came the need for additional matierals. They were recommended to us from my insurance agent. They also did a really good job about protecting our house and the landscaping around it.

I've used Phillip and Tom for over a year now at my rental property. I had begun to have trouble with the gas hot water heater about 6 months ago. The hot water heater is in a closet and it seemed as though the pilot light was not getting enough oxygen and was going out. We went through the whole gamut of fixes, having the thermo-coupling changed, leaving the door open etc. Nothing seemed to help. Tom suggested switching to an electric to fix the problem once and for all. They oversaw adding the 220 v line and having the new heater installed. They had to remove the door and frame to access the heater and they reinstalled that.
While they were there Tom noticed a bad board on the deck and changed that also! I really like my tenants and I appreciate that Tom came up with a solution so they are not continually bothered with not having hot water. I frequently work out of state and it is great knowing that I can fix a problem with a phone call. If it is something that they do not do themselves they will get bids and oversee the work for me. I cannot praise them enough.

Philip and Tony came to the house after our roof had taken some wind damage. They gave us an estimate of the cost of the total operation and let us see a few samples of the shingles that we could have them install. The total operation took about a day and a half, with most of the roof put up fully by the first day. I would definitely recommend them to others and would do business with them again in the future.

We had water damage, leaking chimney, rotten boards, sunked plywood areas. Phillip gave us a quote which was a bit more expensive than most roofers but he did alot of extra chimney repair work for us. He was a total professional and easy to deal with. He presented us with several different options and prices.

The project went so smooth that I had them paint my hall and den and put down new slate like flooring in both rooms. They are now working on my kitchen, totally gutting and installing new flooring, ceiling, cabinets and appliances, which I will comment on later, when they are finished.
