Platinum Professional Carpet Cleaning

Thank goodness for platinum professional carpet cleaning! We were sadly hit with the stomach bug and I don’t think I could have ever looked at my carpet the same. We called, they came SAME DAY, and I can’t even believe how light and clean my carpets look. We always have a revolving door for the neighborhood kids, but I didn’t even realize how dirty our carpets had gotten! They also cleaned our sectional. Nothing but great things to say about these gentlemen! Professional, timely, excellent service. 10/10 highly recommend!

To facilitate the provider, I left a key under the front door mat. 
I texted him the evening before the job:
"The key is under the doormat at the front door. Just lock it in when you're done. Put it on the stove in the kitchen. Thanks." 

I sent a text message the following afternoon at 1:50 pm to the owner asking if they had started on my house.
He answered "We are in last two rooms"
I replied "Great. Any trouble with those two or three  big stains?"
He said " Everything's coming up well except for the filtration soil. All in all it looks great."
I replied "Thanks. Should I open up things for it to dry?"
He said "Should be ok with ceiling fans".
I said thanks. 
Later, he sent a pic of the den carpet and the invoice for over 300$, with the message"We are Done, Door locked and key on stove top."  I paid the bill via card. 

Two days later, I attempt to enter my house from the garage door, as I normally do, and the garage door is locked. I have no key because I left it for them to get into the house, and was counting on using garage access, as I always do. They had locked the Garage door. The nearest key was one hour away with my wife. I contacted the provider via text, and they denied locking the door.  I absolutely never lock that door, most certainly not when I know I will have to use that door to get back in the house. Again they denied having locked the door. 

2 hours later when I have a key to get into the house, I come into a COLD house. They had left my A/C on 72 degrees, from the 79 degree setting I had left the vacant house's thermostat on. 
I brought that to their attention, and they replied " I did that so that your carpets would dry sir" after they had said above that the ceiling fans would be enough.

All of that and the two biggest stained areas were a small bit better, but by no means clean. I was on my hands and knees scrubbing the areas with carpet cleaner. 
I received a call from him only after I threatened him with a negative Angies List review. I unfortunately did not have my phone with me, I was no my hands and knees scrubbing my freshly cleaned carpet. 
My fault in this process was paying my bill before I saw the results of the work.    
I will be contacting him for a partial refund of 100$.

Couldn't have asked for better service!
Mike made time in his Monday schedule to be sure the dressing room mess was addressed as quickly as possible.
He and his assistant are personable, professional, and thorough.
The carpet on the back stairs looks renewed to a far better level than any other service I have used.
Will definitely be using them again for other areas of the house.
