Patrick received payment and promised us a drawing of the subdivided property within a week, but a month later he is not responding to phone calls, emails or texts and we have not received the drawing or a response. We stand to lose a substantial down payment with the builder if the appraisal is not completed within a certain time period.

Excellent job.  Patrick called within a day of my sending message thru Angies List.   He was able to come  within a few days.  His associate came on time and using stakes, marked the side property lines every 20 ft.  Now we know where the lines are.  Before this the neighbor and I guessed by looking down along side the house.  In fact we were guessing wrong since we have woods behind our houses and cant find the points in the back.  Now when Fall comes we will see tall stakes showing the rear property line.  I have ordered metal stakes (on line)  that are flush to the ground to replace the wood stakes.  Now we will always know where the lines are......no guessing.   I can now landscape our yard with confidence.

Called the office and Chris came out within 3 days to do the survey. McMurray supplied us with a PDF and hard copies of the survey. Very pleased with the work and professionalism!

It went really well. Working with Patrick and Clint was a pleasure, and they did a nice job. I highly recommend them for land surveying, and if I need those services again, this is the company I will go to.

Yes the job was done fine my only complaint is communication my husband called him 3 times with no call back I finally emailed him and received a response. If wasn't for the fact that not many service the Gastonia area I probably wouldn't have used him. He went to the home and did the survey unfortunately I couldn't be there so I he did it while I was at work I sent him an email to see if the job had been completed and of course no response I found out when I got home. Then he send and email 3 days later stated the job was completed. Does good work but needs to work on his communication.

I live on a .22 acre lot in a sub-division. I had a physical survey by done 15 years ago by Don Allen & Associates when I purchased the house. There were boundary stakes on the property but over the years, the stakes "disappeared." I wanted to re-stake the boundaries so I called Don Allen & Associates. I provided him with all the details (lot number, plat book, tax id., map page, etc.) indicated on the survey he did. I asked him for a quote to re-stake the property. He quoted me $285. Then I emailed McMurray Land Surveying through their website, providing them with the same physical survey details. I got a call back in about an hour. I told him about the Don Allen quote of $285. He was surprised. As the original surveyor, Don Allen didn't have to "re-invent the wheel"; he had the original coordinates. McMurray gave me a quote of $200, provided that I could supply the original physical survey for his crew to view. And it just so happened that he a had a crew working 3 miles from my house that same day. They came over later that afternoon. I handed them the physical survey and they got to work with their surveying equipment. About two hours later, they were finished and re-staked my property boundaries. The two guys who did the job were friendly and professional. McMurray emailed me an invoice that day. I printed it out, stuck it in an envelope with a check, and gave it to the guys when they completed the job.

Patrick got back to me quickly and we scheduled an appointment for a few days later.  I feel that the price was very reasonable having had other surveys completed.  His assistant, Clint , performed the actual survey.  He was very friendly and informative.  Great experience and our property is clearly marked!  Thank you!
