This is for the Monroe Road location in Indian Trail. I have used this cleaner for years just for basic women's cleaning. They weren't great but they were close to where I live. I have always thought they were over priced but again - the convenience kept me going. I had never had alterations done. My daughter is getting married this month and I bought a gown to wear. I had to order the gown and the smallest size it came it was a 6 which was a size too big for me. I took the gown to Elite Cleaners to see if it could be altered - especially since it had jewels around the neckline. They assured me it would be no problem. When I picked up the gown I was sticker shocked at the (orignally 80.00 bill) which they brought down to 65.00. However, it is for a wedding and I just wanted it done right. I took the dress home and tried it on. My husband immediately noticed that the seam on one side was coming apart and was showing the and quot;tapingand quot; (almost like it has flipped out when sewing back together. There is no way they could not have noticed this when doing the alteration. When I took the dress back they acted like they were irritated that I would even mention it but were happy to take it back. They did the repair and I went to pick it up today. When I put the gown on I immediately noticed that it felt smaller around my ribs. I also noticed that the liner had not been taken in so it was bunching up underneath the dress. I took the dress off and looked at the seam only to notice that they had taken it up almost a half inch more on one side than the other. When I questioned this I got the same irritated look back and was told that was the only way they could fix it which makes no sense . When I asked about the liner they gave me no response. I immediately left and went to another cleaner that does and quot;in houseand quot; alterations. With one look at the dress she knew how to fix it. She also is taking over 2 inches of material from the liner. The dress looked beautiful after she pinned it CORRECTLY! Now I will need to pay her for alterations.. We have been giving Elite Cleaners about $50.00 worth of business every two weeks. I can guarantee they will never see us again nor will I refer my family and friends. At the least they could have told me they were sorry or offered some sort of refund.

They are absolutely wonderful. If they're unable to get a stain out they let us know up front, and in a promptly manner.
