DB Landscape & Grading

After paying D&B approximately 77% of the contract, I had to hire a new contractor to rebuild the wall. Many of the facts that I am telling you below are based on what the contractor told me who re-built my wall. He did the job that I expected when I hired D&B. 1) The wall was not built to local ordinances. 2) Blocks with aesthetic defects were used without my knowledge. 3) The caps did not match the blocks and were the wrong size. 4) After 4 1/2 months my neighbors yard was worse than when we started and their fence was not put back up. 5) The wall had waves and dips, it was not want I expected from a professional. 6) Crushed concrete was used in the base, and I was told that for a wall as high as mine crushed concrete was not a good base. Duke strongly disagreed with that assessment. Duke told me that he had built 60 retaining with his father up in New York. I can't say whether that is true or not, but it appeared to me that my wall was built by someone who had some knowledge but not sufficient skill or expertise to take on the job. Of course I found this out the hard way and it cost me significantly more to correct the wall and have it built right. I would advice you to check the Better Business Bureau in New York under Duke's name and that of his previous company in New York.

Poorly. Work left unfinished and has been 6weeks with return dates given that there has been no show or contact.There is no forth coming communication from the company if and when the job will be completed. Driveway has been left unfinished , inconvenient and is unusable for half of the driveway. Concrete needs replacing in 3 areas following drainage issues.Drainage swale , and rocks never put in place, and deep holes are left on both side of the driveway where it was cut for drainage pipes. Also the fence has not been removed per the contract. Sadly we are still waiting.

Duke is awesome. He did an amazing job and fixed my drainage issue. Will be calling again in the near future for more work.

Excellent job. On time and met our expectations

Duke was awesome, he was on time everyday and kept me informed every step of the job. It was a refreshing change to deal with someone who took pride in their work. I highly recommend DB Landscaping and would use them again to complete the next project I have.

Job was completed ahead of schedule and done perfectly. They cleaned up the job site and graded all their work and took care of some issues that they noticed without charging us. Would recommend to everyone!! Thank you again DB for everything.

Landscaping around a new driveway and sidewalk

DB Landscape and Grading did an excellent job replacing the culvert pipe and repairing my driveway.

So helpful with designing our project. Very pleased with the quality of work and the beautiful end result.

Great Company, put in a whole new septic system, great attention to detail. The finish work they did after the septic system was impressive! I had some trees cut down that were causing issues with the old system. Dave asked if we wanted the three large stumps removed while he was grading the dirt. We told him we did, however we were going to wait to get some quotes. When we returned home the next afternoon the yard was perfectly flat, seeded and...No STUMPS no charge. What a great experience!!! Thank You DB Landscaping and Grading!!

I bought my first house, and had no patios or sidewalks. I added two patios and a sidewalk! The patios are your standard rectangle/ square style due to the way my house is set up, but my sidewalk let me tell you in the front is amazing! It’s not just a straight sidewalk, they added some curves and bend to make it unique and more attractive. Everything was clean cut and no mess. Highly recommend!

Excellent with no issues!

Duke did a great looking concrete patio for us. His craftsmanship is excellent. He properly sloped a very large area quite nicely, cut deep control Joints for winter protection, and took care of a lot of little extras without a fuss. Would recommend again!
