FANTASTIC I have known Michael Goldberg for many years and always had Comfortmax service my HVAC system for years and they always did a fantastic job. After 20 years I decided to have Mike and his team replace my HVAC unit in the back of my house and in the attic including replacement of all duct work. Mike's crew Gene Cain, Conner & Hunter arrived on time to remove the older HVAC unit and then build the new RUDD HVAC unit in the Attic and the new compressor installation in the backyard. The team worked all day to get this project done and even Mike came onsite to see how the project was going and everything went GREAT. Mike's team was professional in doing all of the installation in my attic and backyard. Gene constantly kept me in the loop of any issues and there were NONE. Gene also installed a Wireless Ecobee Thermostat and what a great job they all did for me and my family today. I met a lot of company's in my 25 years in Charlotte NC and Comfortmax made me feel like part of there family. Mike runs a great company and the peace of mind that I was getting the best service and installation without paying more than I needed for my project. Mike and his team are HONEST, PROFESSIONAL and do a fantastic job. If I could give comfortmax a 10 I would do to Honesty is hard to find until I met Mike Goldberg and team. After the job was completed Gene Cain stopped by my house the next morning to make sure all went well and made sure that the new HVAC system was working correctly. Have used Comfort Max for repairs several times over last 2 years. First introduced by Home Warranty company. On another occasion when Home Warranty company sent another company, called Mike for a second opinion. Clearly explained what was needed, and what was not. He replaced our upper HVAC last year - so when it came time to upgrade our main unit, we asked him to assist. He even came out on a Sunday (thank you) with a temporary solution as we were having guests that evening. His team of repairs (Tom) and the installers were all great to work with.

In late November, my 47-year-old furnace stopped working. I called another HVAC company, and they sent out a technician who spent two and a half hours working on it, charged me $95, left oil stains on my carpet and went on his way. Twenty minutes later the furnace made a lot of loud, scary noises and died. I called the other company the following morning for an estimate on replacement. After nearly a week living without heat, I finally received an estimate from that company of $9,100 to replace the system. Then I found ComfortMax Heating & Air on Angie's List. I called, and the owner answered the call himself. He said he was between jobs but could get to my area of the city late that afternoon to take a look. He gave me a courtesy call that afternoon with an ETA and arrived right on time. He examined the existing system thoroughly and said he could provide an estimate the next day. As promised, he called the next morning with an estimate of $4,900. I immediately said, "You're hired!" Mike and his team showed up when they said they would, did all the work in a single day and cleaned up after themselves. The price was exactly as promised, the work was of good quality and the crew was very professional. The new equipment heats the entire house evenly and holds a steady temperature. The digital, programmable thermostat communicates wirelessly with the outside unit. The installation included electrical work, two carbon monoxide detectors, the indoor fan unit and the outside heat pump. The crew insulated and sealed everything outside. As if all that wasn't good enough, I just checked my electric bill for the first full month that the new system was in service. I'm saving more than 30% on my heating costs. ComfortMax is the best HVAC contractor I've ever dealt with, and I highly recommend them.

Every service visit from ComfortMax is prompt and punctual. They don't overcharge for service or try to fix something that doesn't need fixed. Tom has come out the last few years and ensures he puts booties on his shoes each time he enters the house, and takes them off when goes outside to keep them clean. That shows they care about their quality of work. I will continue to use them, and when it comes time to replace those units - ComfortMax will be doing the work.

The work was done promptly, neatly, and thoroughly. We have had the 3 systems in our home for more than a year and we decided also to give Comfort Max the service contract on our other home. Comfort Max is first rate in every way. They also are pet-friendly and were so kind to our animals any time they were in our home. I really can't say enough good things about this company. You will be glad you chose them.

They were fine. I used them to replace a couple of units. They came once, and I liked them. I told my warranty company that I wanted to use them. I paid a lot of out of pocket. I don't know what happened with the price.

Great. Very professional and extremely careful with my home and yard. You could have not asked for a better team. I received multiple quotes and they really knocked it out of the park. They have now earned my maintenance business.

I have used Mike Goldberg & his company ever since Mike started his own company. I full trust him to do great work & give me the best price. Always on-time or he calls or scan call him directly. We determined I needed a new furnace during my fall check-up.

On time, very polite, very competent so far, no problems thorough explanation of the whole process.

CALL THEM...BEST SERVICE. Tom came out and inspected our gas leak that Piedmont Gas had found over the weekend. Let me stop there and say we just moved to Huntersville from Indiana a few months earlier so we didn't know who to call. I figured I'd call the company that installed the furnace initially. That was a huge mistake. They came out and told us we had numerous issues and it would cost us $1844. However, they highly recommended for us to replace our furnace. I sensed a crook so I found Comfortmax on Angie's list and it was the best thing I did. I can't tell you how happy we were with their service and professionalism. Tom assured my wife that we didn't need a new furnace and he fixed the leak. Interesting enough, it was a simple fix and cost us $90 and not $1844. Huge thank you to the Comfortmax team. It's nice to know there are honest people doing business.

My evaporator coil was replaced and is a part that is in a class list for reimbursement in pending litigation. Comfort Max provided all the documentation I would need to file a claim as a class member.

Perfect. The team was proficient, affordable and on time,Even scheduled county inspector!

Downstairs heat would not come on. Tom from Comfort Max came out and checked out the unit. It was a minor fix and he had the heat up and running in no time. Also while he was here checked out upstairs unit as well and everything checked out OK. No extra cost beyond what was quoted no push for any extra service. They are a great company!

,When Michael  came in the morning at 11:am he fould the motor was burned up and would no longer circulate air so it froze.
Because it was a week-end he might not be able to find a replacement until Monday.
Two hours later, he returned with a motor in hand and had finished within an hour, them checked evrything out.
Works great!!!
I am a retired Realtor and have known other vendors who would have told me I needed a new Air Conditioner. That is how I found Michael in the first place, when others tried to cheat my customer.

They were on time, very efficient. Passed all inspections.
