The Caraway team was awesome. The arrived right on time, and got to work immediately. They were total professionals-- taking great care with our things. We moved from 1 4-BR house to another one about 20 minutes away, so there was a lot to move. The guys got it done effortlessly in 1 day. Furthermore, they were so easy to work with - professional and polite. I would recommend Caraway to anyone that has an upcoming move. They were just fantastic.

Moving is an extremely difficult experience. This was our sixth move. From a large home to a somewhat smaller home. It pored rain in KY, and was extremely hot and humid in NC. We have many heavy pieces, and we never heard a complaint from the movers during 2 very long days of loading and unloading. Jonathan was the team leader, and did an unbelievable job of loading the 2 trucks. With a less-skilled loader we may very well have needed an additional truck and incurred extra expense. We also had Charles, Will, Jay and Cornell work on our move. They were all diligent, hard-working, thoughtful and careful. We have been unpacking for several days, and have yet to find anything broken or damaged. On our last 2 moves, multiple expensive items were broken. It took me 6 months after our last move to settle claims with that company. It is a huge relief to know I will not be going through that again thanks to the careful movers employed by Caraway. The communication all through the planning of the move with Matt, and on the actual moving days with Jonathan, was also easy and most helpful. In our case, they were the lowest of the 5 quotes we got for our move. If I were moving again, I would hire them even if they were more expensive than other movers--their service is so very superior!!!

I greatly appeciate the professionalism and service that this company provided in moving me from North Carolina to a military base in Virginia. The two men who loaded, delivered, and unloaded my boxes did an excellent job with great care taken and nothing broken in the process. I highly recommend this company.

The price was about $200, which was very low. It was very good. As I moved to New Jersey, I had people move furniture from one room to a garage, which cost me $500. My experience with Caraway Moving was very good and excellent. They were on time. They were careful with the furniture. They moved very quickly. They didn’t try to drag it out because it was an hourly arrangement. So, I was very pleased. I might have a need for a mover and I would use them again to move my whole house. I actually used them because my mother was moving to Concord. I highly recommend them. Their truck was clean. They handled the furniture carefully. They wrapped the furniture. They were very efficient. They had a couple of very heavy pieces to deal with and they were fine with that. They were able to do those. They did a good job and there were no issues. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

Justin and Jonathan were the movers who did my job. They were prompt, professional, patient and nice. They worked fast which is especially great since they charge by the hour. I have hired many movers in my life but honestly have never had this great of an experience. That isn't an overstatement. The guys were just fantastic....went out of their way to help even though I wasn't totally prepared and everything was a mess when they got here. They also helped by moving some things around within the house, and some things to the side of the road. They were even very sweet and tolerant of my 3 year old who wanted their attention constantly! I plan on hiring them again within the next few weeks to move my furniture back in! Just can't say enough about them.

We recently decided to have our hardwood floors refinished. This required moving everything out of our home and renting storage containers while the work was being done. I contacted a number of movers and Matt from Caraway came out to give me an estimate and see what I needed to have moved. He was very knowledgeable and was able to advise me on the units needed for storage and how they would pack and protect our furniture and other items. Anthony, Justin and John arrived early on a Saturday morning and began work immediately. They had all the tools needed to take apart the beds and other items. Anthony had experience packing storage units and we had room to spare at the end of the move. They were extremely hard workers and did not stop for breaks but kept working the entire time. They moved everything out in a little over 2 hours. Approximately two weeks later, Matt, John and Justin came out on a very hot afternoon to move all our items back into the house. Once again, they worked the entire time and allowed us to put felt pads on the bottom of our furniture as it came into the house. I was amazed that they remembered where most pieces of the furniture belonged. We were very pleased with the professionalism and work ethic of this company. It could not have gone better!! You would be wise to use them for your move!!

They were perfect. Not the easiest of circumstances, having to negotiate tight spaces, various levels and tight turns, Matt and John handled our furniture with care and skill. We were pleased to have the same team on the return visit.

Our real estate agent recommended them because they are a small company that uses the same crew (i.e. no day laborers) who are all very careful about moving delicate furniture. We also appreciated being able to communicate with Caraway by email for setting up and confirming plans. Both days Anthony, Matt, & John were incredibly polite, professional, and efficient. We were so pleased with all three of them because they were pleasant and conscientious and worked well together as a team. They covered our new hardwoods with paper, didn't leave any marks on the walls, no furniture was nicked, had good ideas, and asked where every box was to be placed. They worked incredibly hard on two very hot summer days and did not even take a lunch break. They even called us from the truck as they were driving away to let us know that on the way out. They noticed an irrigation pipe in our side yard was gushing water all over. something we would not have noticed until at least the next day.

Anthony and his crew came and did an evaluation of our property that needed to be moved and gave us an estimate with several options in advance of our move. They arrived on time and he and his team were extremely polite, well-dressed, professional and VERY careful. They treated our belongings like they were their own, wrapping large pieces and couches and chairs in shrink wrap and handling everything with the utmost care. They also worked quickly and efficiently. We had a tremendous amount of "stuff" and they did a fantastic job. We were very pleased with the quality of their work and the excellent value of their service; especially compared to the cost! We had no damage to anything we owned or any damage to walls of our old home or our new home.

These guys did a great job. They worked hard and got the job done in a reasonable time. I had moved most of the little stuff and just used them to move the dressers, TV, large furniture and a few boxes. They were very polite and professional. The only issue was they were 35 minutes late to arrive, but it was also the first day of school and traffic was very bad. John and Thaddaus are taking over this business and plan to change the name at the end of the year to ANOTHER LEVEL MOVING, INC. I recommend them and would use them again.

Thadeus and Jonathan came to the house to provide an estimate. They were very professional, responsive and polite. Our experience was a very good one. On moving day, they showed up right on time, they worked non-stop from start to finish. They were careful with all of our stuff - no damages. They were very professional and accommodating. If we wanted something moved somewhere different that we initially stated, they had no complaints, they just worked, and worked hard. Overall, we were very pleased with the move. We would definitely use them again and I highly recommend them.

Perhaps the worst experience I've had with a service company. All smiles and ''Yes sir'', ''No sir'' until they got the contract. Told us they would store our furniture for half the first day rate ($45 versus $90), then refused to honor that promise and charged $150 per day. Refused to accept blame for damaging back door in our new home. They broke a favorite lamp during the move and refused to take blame or make amends. They showed up at nine o'clock at night and were stumbling all over the place in their rush to get unloaded and back home. The driver (Jonathan) became agitated and almost combative when asked about the filing of a damage claim. He refused to move our grill onto the deck. He also demanded payment up front before he would unload our furniture. Do NOT use this company! They will treat you like royalty until you decide to use them....then you're snared and at their mercy.

WE MOVED ALL OF THE SMALL ITEMS AND PACKED UP DISHES ETC AND LEFT THE HEAVY FURNITURE FOR CARAWAY. ANTHONY AND HIS CREW WERE VERY CAREFUL WITH OUR THINGS AND PATIENT WHILE MOVING SOME LARGE ITEMS UP A SMALL STAIRCASE. THEY WERE ON TIME AND VERY RESPONSIVE. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN.

WE HAVE MOVED EVERY TWO TO THREE YEARS FOR THE LAST 12 YEARS AND THIS WAS THE BEST MOVING SERVICE WE'VE EVER HAD. THE TEAM THAT MOVED OUR BOXES AND FURNITURE WERE AMAZING. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL WITH EVERY PIECE OF FURNITURE TO ENSURE NOTHING WAS SCRATCHED, DENTED OR DINGED. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO ANY PIECES, WALLS, OR FLOORS AND THE WORK WAS COMPLETED WITHIN 10% OF THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. WE HAD NOT EXPECTED TO HAVE THE TEAM TAKE APART AND PUT BACK TOGETHER BEDS AND LARGE ITEMS AND HAD PLANNED TO DO THESE THINGS OURSELVES, BUT WE DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO DO THAT SO WE HAD CARAWAY DO THOSE THINGS. THIS IS THE REASON FOR COMING IN ABOUT 10% ABOVE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. ANTHONY ALSO GAVE US HIS PHONE NUMBER TO FOLLOW UP WITH HIM ON ANYTHING WE NEEDED WHEN HE WAS DONE WITH THE JOB. THIS IS A GREAT SERVICE ORIENTED COMPANY AND IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF HEAVY FURNITURE THAT YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE GETS MOVED AND STILL LOOK LIKE NEW AFTER MOVING, THIS IS THE PERFECT COMPANY.

EXCELLENT SERVICE. PROMPT, COURTEOUS, PROFESSIONAL, AND FRIENDLY. WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH CARAWAY MOVING, INC. WE CONTRACTED WITH THEM TO HELP US LOAD AND UNLOAD A POD. THEY CAREFULLY PADDED AND PACKED OUR LARGE, EXPENSIVE, PIECES OF FURNITURE WITH SKILL. USING A POD MEANT EVERYTHING HAD TO BE PACKED TIGHTLY, FILLING THE SPACE COMPLETELY. EVERY PIECE CAME THROUGH BEAUTIFULLY, WITH NO DAMAGE. WE HAD TO CHANGE OUR UNPACKING DATE, AND THEY ACCOMMODATED OUR SCHEDULE WITHOUT A PROBLEM. WE WOULD DEFINITELY USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN, AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
