A & D Heating & AC

Don't waste your time or money with these people. I had nothing but problems with A & D. Installation was a nightmare. One of the techs cut himself and bled on my walls while installing the inside air component. Then I was asked if he could borrow a ladder because he didn't want to have to go downstairs to his truck. A month later we had another issue with a line set which was an extra $1500 and it ended with him cussing out his techs over the mess made outside. Unbeknownst to us, a hole was cut on our attic roof and flooded the bedroom while we were away on vacation costing thousands of dollars in damages to our unit and the unit below us. Thankfully, his insurance covered everything but it was a complete mess for almost three months inside our condo. Another time I called for a service check and David said he had a bad knee but could face time me over the phone! W**? Who runs a business like this? I'm guessing most of the positive reviews are fake. A&D doesn't appear to have a legit website or office building.

After 15-20 days something went wrong with my a/c because they gave a wrong diagnostic and I used another company to fix it. I spent a lot of money on a hot Saturday afternoon. I had asked this company why the a/c was not working they advising me to buy another deal with Angie’s List in order to come back for further diagnosis.

This company was fantastic. They worked with me, fitting me in at a normally very busy time, in order to get my units serviced. My home is on the market, and making sure the AC is working efficiently is very important to keep the home comfortable for both my family and prospective buyers. They were friendly and obviously concerned about helping their customers out when I called, and when I called back the day of service to ask about a window of time for when they would arrive (since I had a showing the same morning), they made sure to call and let me know when they were 1/2 hour out. Then, they arrived right when they told me they would. The service call went smoothly, the guys finished up quickly and they never tried to sell me on anything I didn't need - simply cleaned the system and were on their way. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

It went great!

There wasn’t too much to do. It was okay. I had to have them back out in July as my A/C wasn't functioning at capacity. I was having a big party, and they told me to shut my A/C off to defrost it. They told me to call at 4:30pm and I did, but no one was there. I left several messages, but they didn't respond till the next day. We had to have the party with the A/C on at full blast (not at full capacity). They've resolved the overall problem.

Service was completed. Disconnect box was inoperable therefore, all work could not be completed. Which is understandable. When another vendor arrived the next day to repair the disconnect box, he highlighted areas that should have been a part of the cleaning process. Perhaps this is not a part of the standard cleaning this company provides. The technician that came was a nice guy. As homeowners we should have got a complete listing of what was included in our purchase.

Called on Monday and Dave come out on Tuesday.  Quick service, as usual.  He was on time and was able to replace the part right away and get the AC running cold again in just a few minutes.  Dave is always a professional and honest.  I would not call another company to service the AC.

It went well, I couldn't be more pleased

I purchased two tune-up deals from the provider. They came on time, did the job quickly, and did not push us to buy anything else. I highly recommend them.
