"I adore [Member Name Removed] and the entire family is amazing to work with. Thank you for the great review."
"Love this client. Very kind and enjoyable to be around."
"This client reached out to me on July 20 to discuss some move in cleanings for homes he rents to college students in Chapel Hill. I found out my daughter had cancer prior to meeting with him and subbed his work out to Keisha who I have used numerous times in the course of five years. I let him know she would be taking over. She met with him on July 24 to discuss cleaning five of these units. From July 26 to August 4 she cleaned six homes for [Member Name Removed]. One she did twice as he was a little displeased. He walked through each home with her and signed off on them. He was very erratic in scheduling due to painter issues but she was flexible to his needs. As you can imagine, the homes were not in great shape. August 28 I received an email from [Member Name Removed] stating there was a tenant complaint from the last home cleaned on August 4. This is the email from [Member Name Removed] detailing what he required at the cleaning for which he was present ‘Description:Unit D3 this is not a move out. You don’t have to go inside cabinets or the refrigerator or the oven, etc. It’s cleaning the bathrooms, there are 2 1/2 bathrooms and as much of the kitchen as you can get to. Not the oven not the refrigerator just the Surfaces. Maybe wet mopping the new hardwood floor.’ He received all six home cleaned some for a full eight hour day (they are college students) for $835. This is well below the market costs of $40/hour. He then waited a full three and a half weeks to issue a complaint. I forwarded his complaint to Keisha but he did not respond to her. Unfortunately, my daughter was in the middle of major surgery and getting ready for chemo treatments and I wasn’t working at this time. I assumed his issues had been addressed. Then in October [Member Name Removed] decided to use the threat of a negative review against me if I didn’t do something immediately. I was very confused as why he wouldn’t deal with the person who had done his cleaning, nor why he didn’t understand why I wasn’t working at this point. However I offered him a $50 refund (of which I’ve not personally received any money) to which he replied he actually had two complaints. Fine, it’s been almost three months since the cleaning with nary a word of a second complaint, but I promptly issued him a $100 refund making his grand total for deep cleanings $735 for six units housing college students. He then reached out to me wanted my tax ID and address information to send a 1099. When I refused to give it to him he responded I would be getting a very severe review on Angie’s List. I told him I no longer cared, as I thought it was wrong to hold the threat of a negative review over someone’s head to get your way. He is not required to issue a 1099 to my company as we are an S Corp. More than anything, my company didn’t earn money off of his homes and I advised him to reach out to Keisha if he needed more information. I’ve already contacted Review Integrity due to this client holding my company hostage with the threat of negative reviews when A) the work had been completed and signed off on B) He received a generous refund C) he doesn’t require the information he’s requesting and I don’t wish to have further communication with this man. I think the fact he’s writing this review five months after the cleanings when I didn’t acquiesce to his demands very telling."
"We don't charge based on time as some cleaners are very quick and others very slow. Typically a 1500 sq foot home would be a 2.5-3 hour clean. A single occupation condo wouldn't be unusual to fall on 2.5 hours unless the resident is excessively dirty. Without specific deficiencies in the cleaning it's hard to address this type of concern except to have a cleaner kill time at a home. I apologize for the client's dissatisfaction. I know she loved her initial deep clean and had no specific complaint with second aside from speed of clean."
"Thanks!"
"This client is the best!!"
"You're the best..Thank you for the lovely review"
