"After speaking with the homeowner and my technician in reference to our services I felt it was necessary to clarify the position of my business. I have been a N. C. License Plumber since 1996 and have never considered upselling. Upselling is a perfect way to ruin a good reputation and destroy business success. Upselling is not a practice we follow. Unfortunately, simple fixes often turn into something a little more complex and may require the replacement of a certain part or fixture to make a professional repair. Due to the nature of plumbing a primary issue may be causing secondary damage and need to be address to make the quality repair needed. We offer professional, knowledgeable diagnoses to all of our customers so they can make the best decision possible to solve their plumbing problems at very competitive pricing. This repair included removing a zip tie from a garbage disposal, re-sealing a garbage disposal discharge pipe, replacing two washers and nuts on sink drainage pipe and replacing a tail piece which was installed to short for a total price of 125.00."

"A technician working for my business completed a plumbing project for Linda on 1/20/2017. The project included two toilet rebuilds, installation of one new pop up assembly on a bathroom sink, repair of a pop up assembly on an additional sink at no charge, and the installation of a existing washing machine pan. Several modifications had to be made for washing machine pan installation which included removal of base board, trimming ceramic tile, and removing and re-installing clean out caps to drain. Installation of pan was in a very tight space which made installation more difficult. On 1/20/2017 I received a call form Linda stating that the owners were going to pay for half of the repairs and that she would bring me a check if I would give her half of the payment received in exchange for the payment from the owners. She informed me she would be contacting me on Monday 1/23/2017 and I told her I would be glad to give her portion of the payment back in exchange for the home owners portion. Unfortunately. I never heard form Linda in reference to the exchange of payment on 1/23/2017. I left two voice mails and sent an email in reference to her dissatisfaction with our service and never received a response. I offered to review the work performed by my technician and a refund for any over charge, if any, that may apply. Two toilet rebuilds and the installation of one new pop up assembly would cost close to what I charged for all the work done. Due to reviews being important to any business I am still willing to review any work performed by business and refund any legitimate over charge."
